Description: The SCP is an old ordinary appearing metal bed, which was found in a room in a small motel somewhere. When a subject sleeps in the bed, after a couple of hours a thick black fog manifests from under the bed and moves above the subject. The upper body of a humanoid looking creature, SCP-XXXX-1, reaches out of the fog, kills the person sleeping in the bed, and pulls them into the fog, before pulling a copy of that person out of the fog, replacing the subject in the bed, and the fog dissipates.
The replacement appears to be an identical copy both physically and mentally, and doesn't remember anything from the night before. The only difference is that SCP-XXXX-1 will never replace a replacement. The reason for the process and where the original bodies are taken is entirely unknown.
