Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5000 is to be contained in a sealed windowless chamber at Site-66. SCP-5000 must be placed in a hypobaric chamber kept at -66oC for the duration of transport.

Any interaction with SCP-5000 must be done wearing a gas mask and hazardous materials suit.

Description: SCP-5000, formerly Sub-Lieutenant [DATA REDACTED] is a humanoid being with deformed and rotting features wearing a ragged Imperial Russian officer's uniform. SCP-5000 is approximately 1.8m in height.

Subject was discovered in in August 2015 following the 100 year anniversary of the [DATA REDACTED].

Experiment #1


DATE: 29/08/15

SCP-5000 was approached by Dr. [DATA EXPUNGED] during the first test with SCP-5000. The subject's past was brought up to which the subject reacted by releasing a [DATA REDACTED] through the sweat pores. Dr. [DATA EXPUNGED] was killed following the incident after suffering from convulsions and muscle spasms.

Notes: Dr. [DATA EXPUNGED] was warned by Dr. Yian to wear PPE but ignored him like an idiot. /Dr. ███████

Addendum 1632-B: As of 01/09/15, all personnel interacting with SCP-5000 are required to wear a hazardous materials suit, gloves, and a gas mask.

Experiment #2


DATE: 10/09/15

Dr. Yian experimented on SCP-5000 using a mirror. The subject was exposed to the mirror presented by Dr. Yian afterwhich the subject started releasing [DATA REDACTED]. The gas leaked through an O-ring seal in the airlock which led to the gas spreading in the sector. The sector was subsequently evacuated following correct protocol and procedures.

Notes: Mirror cracked, replacement needed. Bring replacement to Dr. Yian's office.

Addendum 1632-C: Following Experiment #2, all photos of SCP-5000 must be censored before being presented to the subject.
