Special containment procedures:
SCP-3962 is to be kept in an enclosed containment that closely resembles an African savanna. Supplementary lighting is required at all times due to SCP-3962’s hazardous attempts at causing power-outages. SCP-3962 is not to be approached by any personnel under level three clearance. If removed from containment at any time, SCP-3962 is to be tranquilized and carried by armed personnel.
The tall grass in SCP-3962’s containment must be cut every week. If the tall grass grows over three feet, personnel will have complications sighting SCP-3962.
Any personnel near SCP-3962 are strictly permitted to wear night vision goggles at all times to be prepared for a potential blackout.
Appearance:
SCP-3962 appears to be a colossally sized wildcat standing at 1.8288 meters tall and weighing 226 kg. Unlike other customary lions (Panthera leo), SCP-3982’s fur and mane are a jet-black tone. SCP-3962 has crimson luminescent eyes that can be seen clearly in concealed lighting.
Description:
SCP-3962 was taken into containment after being found with it’s pride in the South █████ Desert on 4/27/20█. SCP-3962 was the only abnormally colored lion, resulting in many assumptions by witnesses of this phenomenon. SCP-3962 is to be kept away from any metal at all times. A recent X-Ray scan done on SCP-3962 has shown that SCP-3962 has ████ in it’s paws. This ███ could possibly help SCP-3962 conduct electricity, resulting in SCP-3962 recieving electrical currents that travel throughout the ground of the facility. SCP-3962 stores most of the electricity it gains inside of SCP-3962’s ███. When SCP-3962 has enough energy stored, SCP-3962’s surrounding area will enter a stage of complete darkness due to the lack of electricity. SCP-3962 has superb scotopic vision, which makes it uncomplicated for SCP-3962 to strike multiple victims when they are unaware of their surroundings in their pitch black environment.
Addendum 1:
As of 8/26/20█, SCP-3962 has been reported trying to show signs of affection toward numerous personnel. Direct contact with SCP-3962 has resulted in multiple personnel experiencing a slight shock. This action was deemed by foundation staff to not be a sign of hostility, but perhaps a sign of probable fondness. Though, SCP-3962 is still known to cause major blackouts and assail anybody who crosses SCP-3962.
