Item #: SCP-4059
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4059 is to be contained in a 2x2 meter cell.
Containment area is to be kept lit at all times, if not so, SCP-4059 will get aggravated and try to escape. No staff are permitted to enter the holding area of SCP-4059 at any times.
In the event of an SCP-4059 escape/attack, all staff are to evacuate the area as soon as possible as SCP-4059 will fly through the cell door to attack surrounding victims. All staff are to keep one meter or more from SCP-4059 at all times.
Description: SCP-4059 is a ghostly black human-shaped figure with two small red eyes and wispy hands with long fingers. It is wrapped in a worn black cloak of witch the origins are unknown. The creature appears to not have any sort of legs or feet, as SCP-4059's legs are gone and what is left is strands of cloth hanging from it's cloak. the only visible part of SCP-4059 under the cloak it its eyes and its arms from the elbow down, otherwise SCP-4059 does not have a visible form. It's face is black with the only other color if the eyes, it's arms are slightly withered away and rotten.
SCP-4059 is very strong, and has been observed attempting to tear apart it's cell walls with its hands, showing no sign of giving up. SCP-4059 moves will fly or float a meter above the ground, as it has not been seen to go any closer to the ground by any (alive) staff members.
SCP-4059 has been seen on video surveillance systems sensing (and hating) humans or any type of life. When SCP-4059 passes by the foundation's surveillance systems the screen has been seen to go black and turn back to the original image when SCP-4059 has passed. SCP-4059 will approach the easiest victim, and then use its hands to get a strong grip on them, causing the subject's skin to wither and rot like its own until death. If SCP-4059's victim manages to get saved that victim will go into a shock witch has had not been seen to end. During this state of shock the survivor can respond in short answers but has not been seen to start talking of its own will. The withered skin has appeared to fade over a long time. If no life are present, SCP-4059 will start attempting to escape until a human responds to this and is present again.
If SCP-4059 was angry it will slowly turn calmer in light. If at any times it is given more than the usual amount of light SCP-4059 will become angry again. This is described as a defensive response to light, as SCP-4059 feels threatened. SCP-4059 does not appear to eat, breathe, or sleep. Due to its terrifying attack and its normally aggressive nature, no samples of SCP-4059 have been collected due to lack of volunteers.
