THE INTERROGATION CHAIR
SCP-5000: https://ibb.co/992C48P
Item #: SCP-5000
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5000 is to be kept at all times inside of a powerful freezer room or in an extremely cold environment, at about -22°F (-33°C).
Description: SCP-5000 appears to be a rusty interrogation chair found within the perimeter of an abandoned police station in the city of ████████, Northern Scotland. SCP-5000 was found by a field agent working for the Foundation and an ex-police officer. If a living thing sits on SCP-5000, it will instantaneously feel perturbed and become extremely irascible. Therefore, the interrogator must remain calm at all times. Subjects that sit on SCP-5000 are pressured into responding to every question with complete honesty. Subjects that manage to lie while sitting on SCP-5000 during an interrogation will faint due to hyperventilation, hyperpyrexia or high stress levels. After the end of every interrogation, test subjects will feel light-headed for about 30 minutes.
If SCP-5000 isn't contained properly, its metal frame structure will start heating itself exposing those that are within a 16-foot (nearly 5 meters) radius to toxic metal fumes causing the metal fume fever. Metal fume fever is caused by the inhalation of certain metals, either as fine dust or most commonly as fumes. The signs and symptoms are generally flu-like. They include fever, chills, nausea, headache, fatigue, muscle aches, joint pains, lack of appetite, shortness of breath, pneumonia, chest pain, change in blood pressure, and coughing. SCP-5000's metal frame structure was identified to be made out of a strong zinc alloy.
Field agent ██████ and ex-police officer ██████, were exposed to SCP-5000's metal fumes on the same day of its containment.
NOTE: Further investigation has shown that the police station has been evacuated and abandoned because of SCP-5000's toxic metal fumes.
All personnel exposed to SCP-5000's metal fumes got the metal fume fever.
Doctor ███████ noted that SCP-5000's metal frame structure was extremely hot. Therefore, a decision has been taken, and SCP-5000 was locked inside of a powerful freezer room.SCP-5000 is locked inside of a powerful freezer room within the bounds of SITE-██.

Dr. ██████: What else?
D-7357: I feel even more stressed.
Dr. ██████: I want you to take a deep breath. What else?
D-7357: (takes deep breath) I-I can't feel the cold anymore.
Dr. ██████: And how does that make you feel?

Dr. ██████: We are not done yet. You are sitting on SCP-5000, an interrogation chair, so I will have to ask you a few simple questions before you can go back to your cell. I want short answers, is that clear?
D-7357: (breathing heavily) Let's get this over with.
Dr. ██████: D-7357, why were you imprisoned?
D-7357: I-Is that a joke? You can check that in my files. (stress levels rise to abnormal points)

Dr. ██████: Go ahead, I'm listening.
D-7357: Next question.
Dr. ██████: (chuckles) Good thinking. One last question, I want you to answer with a lie, let's see what happens. Are you D-7357?
D-7357: Yes. What the…
Dr. ██████: D-7357, are you testing me?
D-7357: No, I-I swear that I wanted to respond with "no", but something did not let me do it…
Dr. ██████: Fascinating, let's try one more time, are you D-7357?
D-7357: N-Yes… n-n-no I-I'm not…
Dr. ██████: D-7357 ?
D-7357: …
Dr. ██████: D-7357 ?!
THE AFTERMATH:
