Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4016 is to be kept in a 5 ft by 5ft cage in a bunker 500 ft underground. Under no circumstances is anyone, even the highest ranking personnel, are allowed to make contact with SCP-4016. Only if it's a test and if it's a Class D and if it's permitted by O5 then it,s allowed.

Description: SCP 4016 is appears to be a ordinary watermelon, if anyone makes contact with SCP-4016 it will immediately scar them, causing [DATA EXPUNGED], same rule applies to any material except iron.

If any damage is sustained to SCP-4016 it will cause an explosion, killing everything in a 2 km radius. however it does not destroy any matter other then then organic matter. After this event occurs, SCP-4016 will appear 10 seconds after the explosion in its containment cell, even though SCP-4016 returns to its containment, it is considered not sentient.

Addendum-4016: SCP-4016 was discovered in a farmhouse in [DATA EXPUNGED]. Texas, it appeared that every being near the farm had died, the corpses looked like they were near an explosion. SCP-4016 was found on the kitchen counter.
