Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures:

There are multiple containment protocols that each take effect at certain times.

SCP-C-PasCont: This protocol takes effect when SCP-XXXX is not being experimented on.
SCP-XXXX must be fixed to a rigid surface in a way that makes it hard to remove SCP-XXXX from its position unless the material used to hold the object in place (i.e. a locking chain, duct tape, etc.) is broken, ripped, unlocked, etc. The floor of the room SCP-XXXX is contained in must be carpeted. This containment procedure inhibits the mind-affecting effects of SCP-XXXX if containment protocol [INSERT PROTOCOL] is violated by any subject in the room with the object.

SCP-E-Pre: This protocol takes effect if an experiment is scheduled and all subjects assigned to experimentation on SCP-XXXX are present.
To ensure safe removal, all subjects must…
…be provided with the following items by the security personnel on-site:

  • a pair of wool socks, must be worn [IS THERE A WAY TO PUT IT MORE "PROFESSIONAL"?]
  • a mask that covers the mouth and nose while not inhibiting breathing.
  • a sound level meter

…hand over following items to the security personnel on-site:

  • metal objects loosely connected to each other (i.e. key chains)
  • mobile phones [IS THERE A WAY TO PUT IT MORE "PROFESSIONAL"?]

SCP-E-RemObj: This protocol takes effect when subjects are taking SCP-XXXX out of containment described in containment protocol SCP-C-PasCont. This protocol may, but should not be, violated if SCP-C-PasCont is still in effect.
Before SCP-XXXX may be removed from its containment described in protocol SCP-C-PasCont, all subjects in the room with SCP-XXXX must agree on who removes the object1. The selected subject will be referenced as SCP-XXXX-2 for the rest of this document and shall be called that by researchers and security personnel on-site while the experiment lasts2. To safely remove SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-2 and all other subjects must not make any audible sound above 15dB. They may use the sound level meter to monitor the amount of noise in the area. If there is background noise that is louder than 15dB for intervals longer than 5 seconds, the experiment must be canceled due to the fact that the background noise that may involuntarily trigger the effects of SCP-XXXX specified under [INSERT EFFECT PARAGRAPH].

SCP-E-Ex:

Description:

SCP-XXXX's appearance: SCP-XXXX is a bright-yellow pillowcase, roughly 10cm * 10cm in area. It has a ziplock at one of its sides, about 8cm in length, containing both instances of SCP-XXXX-1.

Effects that affect the holder: During experimentation, subjects…
