700 Energy Scanner

The 700 Energy Scanner is an energy scanner manufactured by Kent Tech. It can detect the presence of various forms of energy, including repulsor fields, radiation sources, and communications signals. Its sensors include a motion sensor, comm scanner, metal scanner, and life-form scanners, but the unit is stationary. The life-from scanners can detect life forms 6 kilometres away, the comm scanner has an effective range of three kilometres, the motion sensor has a 2 kilometre range, but the metal scanner only had a maximum range of five hundred metres. The computer built into the scanner controls all four sensors and displays the data on a readout screen.

The product cost 5,600 Sols each though on curtain occasions it can be bought for as low as 2,000 Sol.

Geoscanner

The Geoscanner is a device manufactured by Kent Tech. It can detect geological characteristics like precious minerals, ore deposits and underground features, as well as analyzing geo-thermal, seismic, volcanic, and glacial activity. It was commonly used by miners and prospector. The device has a range of 2 kilometres.

The product cost 4,800 Sols.

C-13 Cargo Scanner

The C-13 cargo scanner is a scanner developed by Kent Tech. It is used by both Foundation fleets and smugglers to scan cargo. The Foundation uses it primarily to check if illegal items are being distributed. It has a range of 1 kilometre.

The product cost 150 Sols, making it the cheapest Kent Tech product.

TX-23 and TX-26 Targeting Computers

Targeting computers are devices used aboard vessels to aid pilots in targeting their weapons. A target was considered vulnerable when it was aligned with the electronic crosshairs of a targeting computer's gun-sights. The size of these devices depends on the power of the weapon being targeted. Smaller targeting computers are used aboard one-man fighters while much larger targeting computers are used to help with aiming large turrets.

The TX-23 is a targeting computer manufactured by Kent Tech. It is meant for small fighter.
The TX-26 is another targeting computer meant for cruisers.

The TX-23 cost 6,000 Sols and the TX-26 cost 6,500 Sols.
