Description: SCP-XXXX is a physical and psychological state developed within individuals that experience █ ██████ ██ ███ at the time of death. The condition causes the individual to retain consciousness after the body is deceased.

The subject will appear to be expired and undergo decomposition at a natural rate; erratic brain activity will occur however. Need for external resources such as food, water, or oxygen are not required for the brain to sustain aforementioned functions. The individual is essentially trapped within a psychological prison and is forced to feel and experience its body’s decomposition process. The subject is 100% aware of its surroundings although being completely deceased. Once this state is achieved, it is currently irreversible.

It is unknown whether consciousness of the subject is still present after complete physical decay.
