Special Containment Procedures: Containment of SCP-XXXX is unviable due to the anomaly not being of physical origin. Due to this, containment efforts are to be focused on studying the subject whenever it occurs. MTF Unit Zeta-7 ("Hey! You're not a Doctor.") are to observe instances of this phenomena and report information on their findings.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a memetic phenomena localised within the United States of America. The phenomena itself is caused by viewing a branded pale lager of Corona Extra¹. As soon as viewed by an individual meeting these requirements:

• Is of American Nationality.
• Is between the ages of 28 to 45.
• Is considerably susceptible to suggestion.
• Has an IQ of 85 to 110.

SCP-XXXX will induce a form of hysteria on the person. This hysteria will cause the sufferer, now designated SCP-XXXX-A, to believe that Corona Extra has links to the recent Coronavirus²; and any contact with the lager will induce the virus onto the individual. This phenomena has had a considerable amount of damage on the reputation of the company AB InBev³, decreasing their stocks by a substantial amount.

SCP-XXXX can effect multiple people at a time, causing many instances of SCP-XXXX-A, but luckily SCP-XXXX can only effect certain people within strict requirements (investigations on this are ongoing by Zeta-7). SCP-XXXX-A instances spread rumours of Corona Extra containing "bits" of the virus, frequently stating that it is deliberate that it contains strands of COVID-19 as to cull the populous.

These claims are generally disregard, but some instances of SCP-XXXX-A have managed to create more instances of itself via communication with individuals that meet the requirements (countermeasures are being looked into by Zeta-7).

1. Corona Extra is a pale lager produced by Cervecería Modelo in Mexico and owned by AB InBev in Belgium. It is one of the top-selling beers worldwide. Corona is commonly served with a wedge of lime or lemon in the neck of the bottle to add tartness and flavour.

2. Coronavirus (COVID-19). COVID-19 is a new illness that can affect your lungs and airways. It's caused by a virus called coronavirus.
