Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept at site 19 in standard Containment unit with no less than four personnel permitted to enter at a time. All personnel that enter must discard any cash, metals or tokens of any kind before entering the containment unit. If more than one personnel becomes manic or obsessive over an item then the remaining personnel must remove the compromised personnel and be give class A amnesia drug.

No items are allowed to be bought or stolen from SCP-XXXX for personal use until researchers have confirmed the psychological and physical effects the instance may have. If a researcher requires the removal of a single instance of SCP-XXXX then a token will be allotted to a single personnel. Personnel with the token will be at elevated risk of being targeted by SCP-XXXX but doesn't limit the number of potential targets.

Any items removed will be classified as SCP-XXXX-XXX. The new instant must be handled by a Class-D personnel to identify any effects the instances might have. Document by product, size and weight after exposure to Class-D personnel. Any emotional and/or physical changes must be logged. Any attempt to consume or use the instant will result in behavioral and/or physical changes until the instance is removed from subjects body. After the instance is documented the item is to be placed in an appropriate containment unit for storage. Personnel with security clearance Level 2 or higher are allowed to interact with instances of SCP-XXXX under observation only if the are object class is Safe and pose low risk to the user (See Instance List).

Description:

SCP-XXXX appears to be a standard store front in a strip mall located at █████ street,Unit █████,███ , █. Unit ██ is furnished to resemble a modern store front in a standard street access strip mall with 37.16 square meters of retail space. Functions with no employees and remains fully stocked and furnished with a self-checkout. Read Addendum [SCP-XXXXc] for current location

The self-checkout machine has been given the identifier SCP-XXXX-SCO due to its anomalous characteristics. Read Addendum [SCP-XXXXd] Appears to be a standard self-checkout machine with a bar scanner and scale but has an additional deposit box labelled "other" with no identifiable change slot. Any items of value can be inserted into the other compartment to complete a transaction. The machine has a functional touch LCD screen that automatically displays the language the user is proficient in. There is currently no identifiable power source for the SCP-XXXX-SCO and remains functional during a power outage. Attempts to remove SCP-XXXX-SCO has resulted in malfunctioning and/or broken tools. Any attempts to destroy the machine has resulted in the individuals being unable to enter SCP-XXXX or electrified. There have been a total of 4 Class-D fatalities due to SCP-XXXX-SCO. Further research is required to identify if SCP-XXXX-SCO functions independently from SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX rotates its stock and appearance every 24 hours in an attempt to draw in a single or multiple targets. Once a target is selected it continues to rotate its selection to lure that individual in to complete a transaction. Minor antimemetic effect has been displayed by SCP-XXXX due to the observed behavior of targets and non targets. Any attempts to record the restocking process has results in equipment failure.

No documents have been recovered about the previous unit owner or owners due to the poor record holding by the previous building owner. Any recordings or photos of the storefront before acquisition has been damaged due to improper storage. Possible antimemetic effect from SPC-XXXX causing poor record holding.

Addendum [SCP-XXXXa]:
First set of containment errors that required a reevaluation of current containment protocol for SCP-XXXX. Incident involved three field agents in charge of observing SCP-XXXX. After 9 days of observation with standard 8 hour shifts that resulted in all three field agents being compromised by SCP-XXXX.

The first containment incident was cause by Agent Desmond ████. He was spotted walking into SCP-XXXX after the morning shift change.When Agent Phil ████████ incharge of morning observation engaged Agent Desmond ████ in SCP-XXXX. Agent Desmond ████ screamed and charged into the coffee machine before being tasered and contained. During his psychotic episode he dropped one item that was later cataloged as SCP-XXXX-004. Appears to be a standard disposable paper coffee cup with a black Rabbit Logo. Agent Desmond was hospitalized due to sleep deprivation and give standard psychological therapy. Agent Desmond ████ made a full recovery and was discharge on ██/██ from the hospital. Agent Desmond ████ immediately returned to regular work under new containment guidelines. Agent Desmond ████: I didn't need to sleep for six days. It was amazing. The coffee never went cold and was an instant relief to allowed me to focus.

Dr. Usagi: When did you get the coffee Mr.████

Agent Desmond ████:It was during my second night shift where I almost passed out in the recording van.

Dr. Usagi: So you were unfit to work and you didn't tell anyone.

Agent Desmond ████:I should have been completely fine to work that shift. I was taking sleeping pills during the day to get me to sleep but they weren't working.

Dr. Usagi: Tell me about the night you went into the store.

Agent Desmond ████: What are you talking about.

Dr. Usagi: You bought coffee from SCP-XXXX. Why did you think it was a good idea.

Agent Desmond ████:I never said it was a good idea but it was like a driving force that came over me. Primal instinct or desire. Whatever the hell you want to call it. It was at that point where the lights of the store turned on with the new coffee machine sitting front and center. All I had was a single dime but it knew. It fucking knew I had a dime in my pocket. The coffee machine had a big sign reading Only a Dime. It was taunting me for hours. For fucking hours.

Dr. Usagi: Calm down Mr.████ we are on record.

Agent Desmond ████: I don't fucking care anymore. It was so addicting that I couldn't stop drinking. It never ran out. I took it home to drink during the day. Then to work. Then Home. Work. Home. Work. Then everything becomes blurry. And now here we are talking in this hospital room.

Dr. Usagi: Do you remember entering SCP-XXXX a second time?

Agent Desmond ████:Oh fuck what else happened.

Dr. Usagi: At the end of your ninth shift during rotation with the morning shift. Agent Phil ████████ saw you enter SCP-XXXX with SCP-XXXX-004.

Agent Desmond ████:What is double oh four again

Dr. Usagi: The coffee cup and let me finish before you ask more questions. Agent Phil ████████ saw you enter SCP-XXXX with SCP-(Doctor paused for 5 seconds and sighed) your magic cup of Joe. He politely confronted you in the store and you started screaming like a lunatic. Let me check exactly what you said on the recording log from the surveillance unit. Most of it just says unintelligible screaming with a single word being understood and that was coffee said at a large volume. Then he promptly used a taser on you and rushed you to the local SCP medical unit. However we have no idea if SCP-XXXX made a new instance during the 29 minute agent blackout.

Agent Desmond ████:I'm so fucked

Dr. Usagi K.: it seems like SCP-XXXX had a psychological effect on you that we weren't prepared for so no disciplinary actions will be taken. Your actions was a miscalculation in our containment protocol but we wont learn any other way. Your next shift starts in four hours.

Dr. Usagi: Get Dressed Mr. Coffee.

Agent Desmond ████:I'm naked under this gown.

Agent Desmond ████:One more thing Doc. About my coffee. Double-oh-four. Will it be possible for me to safely drink it.

Dr. Usagi: I have already started the paperwork for examination and containment protocols of SCP-xxxx-004. If everything gets cleared in two weeks you will be allowed a max 15ml a day under observation and regulation.

Agent Desmond ████:will anyone else be allowed to partake.

Dr. Usagi: At this time the study will only include you Mr. Coffee. Since you were already exposed and consumed large volumes over a week. I think SCP-XXXX-004 could have practical uses in the right doses.

Agent Desmond ████:Just stop calling me Mr. Coffee.

+ Incident 0002:# 

Field Agent Phil ████████ was found deceased in the mobile surveillance unit █ 7 hours after taking the Agent Desmond ████ to the SCP medical unit at █:█. Agent Phil ████████ stole an item from SCP-XXXX when he intervened and recovered the Agent Desmond ████. SCP-XXXX-005 has been identified as a silver ballpoint pen. The pen was used on multiple foundation forums and under review of all items in the surveillance unit showed that it was the only function pen. All standard black ballpoint pens provided by the foundation were void of ink and inoperable. With a total of six sealed 20 packs and thirty seven pens in various places of the unit. The body show signs of self mutilation by multiple stabbings with a dull metal object into left forearm and right thigh. The silver pen was completely submerged into the right thigh and was only recovered during the autopsy.

The foundation paperwork filled out with the pen is void due to being compromised by SCP-XXXX-005. Time stamps on various documents are non credible but were used to get a rough estimate of time for his psychological breakdown. The first document filled out with the pen has a rushed and sloppy appearance compared to Agent Phil ████████ usual writing. At █:█ paranoid notes were found in the margins of the forums. █:█ Agent Phil ████████ stopped attempting to fill out the mandatory boxes in the foundation paperwork and wrote make this end on every line on the paper. █:█ was unreadable due to blood stains.

+ Incident 0003:# 

Just before midnight at the end of the ninth day Agent Sam ██████ was found in mobile surveillance unit ██, deceased in front of a foundation laptop holding a non-approved storage device later cataloged as SCP-XXXX-006. The body was sent to the SCP Medical division for a standard autopsy to identify the cause of death. Agent Sam ██████ died from cerebral hypoxia due to an unidentifiable blockage. SCP-XXXX-006 has four hundred and sixteen foundation documents transferred by Agent Sam ██████.

One class-D personnel was used to copy the information off of SCP-XXXX-006 to confirm the contents. At this point the class-d personnel showed signs of left unilateral paralysis and died from complications in 3minutes and 23 seconds. The autopsy of the Class-D personnel showed similar brain damage as Agent Sam ██████ due to cerebral hypoxia.

Mobile Task Force Gamma-5 searched Agent Sam ██████ apartment and found evidence that he was selling information to non-foundation individuals. A total of 93 sensitive documents have been recovered. The information recovered from Agent Sam ██████ apartment has also lead to the arrest of seven information buyers. The buyers has been given Class-D status and are currently working in site-17.

Twenty two broken power tools and four Class-D fatalities have been document in efforts of removing SCP-XXXX-SCO from SCP-XXXX. Any attempt to remove SCP-XXXX-SCO causes technical failure of tools and personnel.

Only a quarter of a kilometer to the main blast gates. This caused Epsilon-11 to be deployed to protect site 19 from an unknown threat presumed to be an undocumented SCP.

Mike ██████:Bullshit. That route had to be approved by five different Level 3 individuals. And even then they were anal about the route with expected check in times. If I was driving a car. Sure. Maybe a one day drive slightly over the speed limit but my heavy hauler cant pull those speeds. Hell it can bearly maintain 20 kilometers an hour with a load.

Dr. Usagi: Exactly. How many buildings have you transported before working with the foundation Mr.██████

Mike ██████:Twelve years of moving buildings of various sizes and designs maybe a hundred or two. Why?

Dr. Usagi: How many SCP relocation efforts have you participated in.

Dr. Usagi: I wouldn't recommend that. We haven't tested what effect it has on your vehicle.

Description: One sealed condom approximately 55mm by 62mm. Unregistered brand and product with a strawberry logo. No existing records of the company that manufactured this product. Text printed on bottom left of wrapper says Love the Dish not the Dishes. Wrap everything in the flavor of love. Bought by one 26 year old lady and was recovered by Agent Phil 23 minutes after the transaction. Agent Phil engaged the lady on the street in a standard police uniform and at this time he was unable to perform the act of recovering the instance of SCP-XXXX. He document an increased desire to procreate with the lady until she asked him to carry the shopping bag that contained SCP-XXXX-002.

Description: SCP-XXXX-004 is composed of compressed paper in a standard disposable coffee cup shape. 183mm in high with a single plastic lid 65mm in diameter.

Addendum [SCP-XXXXf]:

A new fatality reveals a trend between purchasing and stealing instances from SCP-XXXX. Further research is needed to confirm this coloration. Items that are stolen from SCP-XXXX have detrimental effects to the user while items bought has potential positive effects. This case also demonstrates that attached body parts can be used in SCP-XXXX-SCO as currency.

+ Incident 0004:# 

The fifth class-D fatality happened at ██,██,██████ and demonstrated a potential security risk with using unstable Class-D personal. Four class-D personnel were sent into SCP-XXXX with a single poker chip. D5690 held the poker chip and bought SCP-XXXX-008. SCP-XXXX-008 is a How-to magazine for breaking out of prison. D6721 became enraged and engaged D5690 in a fist fight. During the fight D6721 picked up a gun off the newly installed gun section and attempted to use the gun.

The gun section had a sign that read all weapons are unlocked at checkout. After trying to force the guns safety while fighting D5690, D6721 took the gun to the checkout to purchase it. The machine requested something of value from D6721 and he punched the open other compartment. The compartment door closed severing his left hand and 60% of his forearm, eight centimeters distal from his elbow. D6721 spent three rounds at the three class-D personnel and ran to the containment unit door where he was terminated by security.

The three class-D personnel that were shot had no entry wounds but displayed signs of an altered mental state from an unknown drug. Under medical examination the class-d personnel had no signs of previous injuries that directly conflicts with medical records on file. Five tattoos and three scares were removed by SCP-XXXX-009. This instance appears to have healing and hallucinogenic effects but further documentation is required.
