Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4223 is to be kept in a locked cabinet within Site-██. All interaction's with SCP-4223 must have approval from any personnel with at least level 3 Security Clearance. Testing must be halted at 4 weeks for the safety of all personal in Site-██. SCP-4223-1 is to be kept in a standard humanoid cell with gas installed to remotely kill SCP-4223-1.

Description: SCP-4223 is a instant camera manufactured by the company Polaroid in 1939.Inside the camera is a rusted battery, and a cartridge of film. The camera it's self is 6.4 x 4.2 x 5.1 inches and Weighs 14.4 pounds with the battery and film inside.

Addendum: After taking a picture of a host with SCP-4223, The host (Now known as SCP-4223-1) falls into cardiac arrest-like state, and they start mumbling a unknown language. After 3 hours of no movement SCP-4223-1 awakes in a paralyzed state. SCP-4223-1 will speak the native language of the original host. Medical staff reported that SCP-4223-1 has no pulse or brain activity.

After awaking from the paralyzed state SCP-4223-1 starts banging on the cell wall while appearing to be in distress.

Some of the tests have had SCP-4223-1 say:

  • LET ME OUT
  • YOU ALL WILL DIE HERE
  • I WILL END YOU ALL

Any attempts to speak with SCP-4223 have had negative results.1
