Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4358 is to be contained in a 37.8 liter glass box, paired with 4 cm wide holes. On each corner should be 1 infrared, high quality, filming equipment. Lighting should be dim and is forbidden to be adjusted at any rate. Every 48 hours should the floor of the box be replaced. The floor is a thin layer of steel with approximately 3 jade stones each adjusted in a triangular shape. Under no circumstances should the top of the box be removed unless maintenance is required. The box should also under no circumstances be covered in any way possible. Steady oxygen flow and clear lighting is key to containment of SCP-4358. SCP-4358 has also requested ███ ████. If maintenance is required, operators are required to wear 3 cm thick leather gloves and a hazmat suit.
Description: SCP-4358 is of a similar species to that of a veiled chameleon (chamaeleonidae). approximately 50.8 cm in length and 9 cm in width. The skin is of a somewhat scale like surface of a green hue accompanied by small dots of a lime green. The head swivels on a 360° angle of that like an owl. When any object is put near the mouth of SCP-4358, the SCP will automatically grab the object with a bite force similar to that of a stapler. There are no teeth present in SCP-4358's mouth however there are small ridges on both lower and upper jaw of the mouth. There is no tongue present. The legs are bent in a way similar to a camel and the feet are 2 toe like limbs that can stick to any wet surface.
The tail is approximately 2 cm long and can be cut off. In about 2-3 minutes the cut off tail will begin to regenerate on SCP-4358. SCP-4358 has shown increased aggression when tail is touched with light force. When put under an infrared camera, SCP-4358 is shown to radiate a warm temperature of 17° C. SCP-4358 seems to prefer fluoride-present water with a temperature of 9° C. When presented with any other water, SCP-4358 will begin to show signs of intense aggression and when in contact with human-skin will secrete a form of acid that can burn the top layer of skin.
