Item #: SCP-5175

Object Class: Keter Thaumiel

Special Containment Procedures: No known containment method can be used to contain SCP-5175 at this time, but is to be kept secured in Site-[REDACTED] until further notice. SCP-5175 is currently kept in a 5mx5mx5m reinforced steel containment chamber that is no less than 1 meter thick, that is to be provided with every day nourishment, food, and water, including items that it requests. SCP-5175 is detained willingly in their chamber. No fewer than four (4) armed guards are to be kept posted at any time. Personnel with a minimum of level 4 clearance are allowed permission to enter the containment chamber for testing and interrogation purposes. Personnel are allowed to visit SCP-5175 at appropriate times, including D-class personnel for testing and conversing.

Description: SCP-5175 appears to be an 18-year-old humanoid male of European and Slavic descent, with a height of 6`4, and a weight of 150 lbs, who does not seem to age over time. SCP-5175 was first discovered being one of the only survivors of the Chernobyl disaster, while visiting [DATA EXPUNGED]. The body of SCP-5175 was recovered and found unconscious two (2) weeks after the event, and taken immediately to the nearest hospital, but had suffered devastating scars and burns that appear throughout the entire body. It is unknown how SCP-5715 suffered the Chernobyl disaster, even though no nuclear particles were found in the body. All vital organs and systems in the body were still found to be functioning properly.

After 2 months of remaining unconscious, SCP-5175 regained consciousness and normal health, then left the hospital. Several months later, there have been multiple conflicting reports of a human teleporting and flying around Turkey in 1925. Armed foundation personnel mobilized immediately to find SCP-5175 drinking coffee in their home. He allowed himself to be willingly detained and transported to their chamber at Site-[REDACTED], where he is currently held. All information of SCP-5175 surviving the Chernobyl Disaster has been removed and expunged from all documents and sources. Further research is ongoing on where SCP-5175's powers and abilities have originated from, their extent of being used, and what they can do.

SCP-5175 does not pose or portray any threat towards humanity or life, and enjoys interacting with other personnel on site. He is allowed to roam the facility if he desires to, due to containment being impossible, but must remain in their chamber in case of emergency lockdowns, breaches, testing, or sleeping. SCP-5175 has demonstrated affections and being fond of other SCP's, such as SCP-999 and SCP-343. There have been various occasions where SCP-5175 interacts with SCP-999 when outside of their chambers and on site. Cross-testing with SCP-343, as requested of SCP-5175 is awaiting approval.

Addendum SCP-5175-A: SCP-5175 has been reported to teleport out of his containment chamber, then back in after a certain period of time, most times with an object or item from the outside world. Objects have been identified as books, food, and common household items. No action is necessary to prevent this, due to SCP-5175's compliance with Foundation protocol and containment. These events have confirmed that the subject possesses the ability of telekinesis and teleportation regardless of whatever material is in SCP-5175's way.

Addendum SCP-5175-B: After several questionings with SCP-5175, he expresses an optimistic and amiable personality towards personnel, including D-class personnel. In one test, a D-class personnel, confirmed with general depression and anxiety, was sent to SCP-5175's chamber. Once the door was locked behind him, SCP-5175 greeted him, and offered him a seat. After two hours of conversing, the D-class reported feeling happier and a sense of relaxation after leaving the chamber. Recordings of electroencephalography have shown that SCP-5175 has used forms of telepathy to better communicate with the D-class, in order to gain a better understanding of his thoughts and feelings. Subject has not been reported to use telepathy or any other related powers for other reasons, except conversing with personnel or other SCP's, unless necessary.

Addendum SCP-5175-C:Foundation has approved cross-testing with SCP-5175 and SCP-049 with 2/3's majority vote. SCP-5175 claimed to have a vast knowledge of SCP-049's abilities and personality, and was sent to SCP-049's containment cell. Upon meeting, SCP-5175 confidently shakes SCP-049's hand immediately, which shocks the foundation researchers spectating the test, including SCP-049 as well. Instead of falling dead on the floor, SCP-5175 reported to have felt a slight pulse upon contact with SCP-049's hand. After this happened, both SCP's conversed with each other, mainly about…
