hello!
i apologise if im doing this wrong i read the sandbox page but i have some visual processing issues, anyways.
SCP ideas:
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is harmless as long as its needles do not come into contact with the skin of a living organism. It can be simply contained in any sort of closed box larger than 2x2 inches.
Discription: SCP-XXXX is a silver, somewhat spherical object. It is approximately 1 inch in diameter. It possesses intricate indented lines, and six glowing green squares that function as buttons, equally spaced upon its surface. When its function is put into effect thin needles protrude through the miniscule holes within the patterns on its surface.
SCP-XXXX's anomalous effect takes place as the needles protrude into a living organism's epidermis. Activated as you may guess, by one of the six buttons. Once the needle's have penetrated a living subject an unknown liquid substance, transparent with a purple tinge in color, is secreted. This substance is known as SCP-XXXX-1.
Once injected, the subject undergoes a strange set of physiological changes taking place in the larynx and bronchial tubes. At first the subjects exposed to SCP-XXXX-1 appear unaffected, over time the subject begins to experience voice cracks. These voice cracks have shorter time between them. Shortly after this stage the subjects voice begins to give off a high pitched metallic twang, (similar to the sound of a tuning fork) during pronunciation of vowels. The subjects voice begins to lose any human tones while adopting heavier into the aforementioned metallic sounds. Eventually the subjects voice seems to go completely silent.
All subjects exposed to SCP-XXXX-1 have become permanently "muted" and are to be trained in learning ASL for future communication purposes. So far no lethal properties have been recorded and long term effects to the exposure of SCP-XXXX-1 are unknown.
future logs (that i havent written anything for yet):
- discovery of the SCP in an office of somewhere, a mic picks up the conversation which will be transcripted for the log
- viewing of the bronchial tubes with a medical scope camera
- the sounds picked up by the recording device are a sort of code (from what i have not decided yet)
