Description: SCP-#### is an airborne virus of unknown origin, capable of turning humans who come into contact with it into instances of SCP-####-1, SCP-####-2, and SCP-####-3. The virus can infect humans through direct contact with the skin of an infected individual, remaining dormant on surfaces for up to 18 hours, and can infect humans through airborne transmission, remaining at dangerous levels of infectivity up to 6 hours after the host leaves the area. Once a human subject comes into contact with the pathogen, they are designated SCP-####-1; if symptoms appear within 15 days then the subject is re-designated to the appropriate SCP-####-2 or SCP-####-3 designation. All cases of human contact have resulted in infection of at least the minimum SCP-####-1 level.

SCP-#### was first discovered when Field Researcher Dr. █████ tested the blood of MTF Unit █████-██ members for unknown pathogens after an interview with SCP-####-3 (previously designated SCP-####), in which the entity revealed the reality of the virus before suddenly ending the conversation. Most of the members of MTF Unit █████-██ have since been dispatched in an attempt to contain the spread of the virus. One infected subject from the unit has been placed in a humanoid holding cell for observation, and has since developed into the only instance of SCP-####-2 in foundation custody.

When a subject turns into an instance of SCP-####-2,

SCP-####-3 is the upper half of a female human, affixed to a pedestal made of sandstone inscribed with symbols of unknown origin. The human portion of SCP-####-3 is missing its shoulders and arms, with the area where they normally would be attached covered in scar tissue. The entity's eyes are presumably non-functional, and have been revealed through material scans to be spheres of bleached stone. The Oracle has no mouth. The Oracle needs no mouth. All who wish to know shall know. All who need to know shall perish.¹ In place of a mouth the entity possesses a large mucus sac, starting at the upper lip and ending at the base of the throat. The mucus appears black, and tests have showed it to be normal human mucus mixed with a material resembling ground chitin. Communication with SCP-####-3 is done through telepathic means, with subjects speaking audibly and the entity responding telepathically. Foundation telepaths have so far been unable to force any thoughts out of SCP-####-3, though SCP-████ is capable of recording the messages sent from SCP-####-3 to the minds of receiving subjects.
