SPECIAL CONTAINMENT PROCEDURES: SCP-V is to be kept under 25degrees Celsius (Fahrenheit) in a refrigerated environment until testing. SCP-2 should be isolated medical supplies. After incident K no personal under Clearance Level 5 will be allowed access to SCP-2
DESCRIPTION:
A crate of 24 (now 14) Glucose IV bags all of which have the date -1/33/65. These appear as normal D5NS solution IV drip bags. When administered intravenously, the subject receives the expected effects that a solution of D5NS historically provides. Upon completion of the drip any wounds, infections, degenerative diseases, viruses, cancers, and any other non-anomalous maladies disappear from the subject. Leaving the subject in a “healthy” state with noted euphoria and shock often associated with a Near Death Experience.
The healthy subject exists in this “Healed” state for a recorded time of 240 hours (a week and three days) from completion of the drip. At which time all wounds, infections, degenerative diseases, viruses, cancers and other non-anomalous maladies return to the subject with renewed severity.
These “returned” maladies often appear if they have gone longer than the duration of the “Healed” state without treatment. (Wounds are often gangrenous, infections and viruses become even more resistant to medicine, cancers metastasis severely and any grafted tissues or limbs enter into advanced decomposition.)
If the bag is split between two or more subjects the “healed” state occurs albeit on a shorter time frame depending on the amount of the fluid the subject is imbued with upon the end of the “healed” state a “swaping” of “combining” of maladies is known to occur. (See incident K, Experiment K)
Discovery: The unmarked crate and it’s contents were discovered in an abandoned veterinarian's office in a strip mall in XXXX Texas, nearby was the slightly mutilated corpse of an unidentified male clutching an IV Stand and an empty bag of SCP-2. Autopsy results concluded the male was suffering from advanced stages of both polio and dementia while simultaneously succumbing to wounds that were consistent with that of bear attacks.

EXPERIMENT-xA: One D-class volunteer with stage 2 Kidney disease. Within one hour of receiving treatment, the volunteer begged to return to active duty guarding SCP-xxxx. 240 hours after administration of SCP-2 complete kidney failure in subject. No anesthetic was made available to the subject. Subject expired before SCP-xxx could be readminsitered.

EXPERIMENT-xB: Two D-class volunteers both wounded in pursuit of SCP-xxx. Subject B1 had several fingers severed while Subject B2 spinal column was severed resulting in complete paralysis. One hour after treatment both Subjects B1 and B2 were mobile and cognizant. B1 fingers reaffix themselves while B2 became mobile and cognizant despite debilitating trauma to the C4 and C5 vertebrae.
240 hours after administration both subjects lost mirroring fingers and collapsed due to mirroring wounds to the C4 and C5 vertebrae. A previously unnoticed respiratory infection caused the expiration of both subjects. Said Infection is inferred to have developed due to the lack of diaphragm muscle control in paraplegics, despite the “Healthy” state of both subjects. Both subjects expired before SCP-xxx could be readminstired. Further testing requested.
