Special Containment Procedures: SCP-0000 is to be contained in an airtight containment unit with an airlock. Three meals should be provided to SCP-0000 daily, and an oxygen tank kept in its cell should be refilled weekly. Comfort items, such as books and music, may be supplied to SCP-0000's containment unit upon request by the SCP. Verbal meeting sessions between SCP-0000 and staff members with a clearance level of 2 or above may be conducted upon request by the SCP, but no staff are to enter SCP-0000's cell.
Description: SCP-0000 is a small mass of opaque black fluid with apparent sentient properties. SCP-0000 is weightless and naturally floats across open spaces as if suspended in liquid. The SCP is able to propel itself through air, as well as come to rest and behave in imitation of a regular Newtonian fluid.
SCP-0000 may take the shape of other objects, most commonly assuming the forms of external human appendages. When taking the shape of a human body part, the fluid also assumes its function. SCP-0000 is able to observe objects and people by forming eyes, ears, and other sensory extremities, and can communicate by forming a mouth. The fluid can interact with the environment by forming limbs, and exhibits typical human behavior when doing so, although it has never been observed to fully take the form of a human.
SCP-0000 seems to possess all the physical needs of a regular animal, requiring sustenance, water and air to survive. However, the SCP has never assumed the form of an internal organ such as lungs or a digestive system. Likewise, SCP-0000 shows indications of sentience and intelligence but has never taken the form of a brain.
