Special Containment Procedures: SCP-#### is to be secured inside a vault measuring at least 15 meters in width and length. SCP-#### is to be placed in the center of the room. Floors directly above and below the vault should have 5 meters of distance. The entrance is to be secured by three factor authorization with access only permitted by or with O-5 personnel. No personnel is to enter the vault without two-thirds majority authorization from remaining O-5 personnel at that time.
If SCP-#### is found outside of said vault or if vault is found open with no O-5 occupants inside, contact a superior immediately to alert O-5 personnel. Close the vault if SCP-#### is inside, otherwise allow no one within 5 meters of SCP-#### and wait for O-5 personnel or Site Director to arrive or send further instructions.
If an O-5 or Site Director cannot be reached, while outside of 5 meters from SCP-####, announce to all staff to remove themselves from the route to the vault and any floors immediately above and below the route. once the path is clear, carry SCP-#### back to the vault without any form of communication (including writing, signing, speaking, or sending messages through any medium) occurring while within 5 meters of SCP-####. Personnel carrying SCP-#### may still receive and understand communications that originated outside the 5 meter perimeter. If any unaware staff are encountered during the transfer, they are to be told exactly "You will leave my proximity immediately". This is the only phrase personnel are authorized to say. Do not allow other personnel to speak. Simply repeat the command and interrupt forcibly (unless personnel is Level-4 or higher) until they are out of the path and outside of 5 meters, then continue with the transfer.
While within 5 meters of SCP-####. Do not speak or write any untrue statements. In an emergency personnel can talk in future tense but they must not make any statement about the past or present (specifically opinions or statements that are false or have the possibility of being false)
Description:
SCP-#### is a 15x10x3 cm plain faded brown leather-bound book made with pages of vellum. The pages are filled with lines of text in the format of a long list, that fills the book almost entirely (there is some space left on the last page). The varied handwriting and different types of ink used suggests many authors have written in SCP-#### over the course of its existence. Some lines of text do contain dates but a majority do not. There are approximately ██ pages and ████ lines of text contained within SCP-####.
The written language of all of the text is always the language of person that last opened SCP-####. If a user is illiterate the pages are indecipherable to all others except for the user that opened SCP-####. The writing style of each author is still distinguishable through the changes in language.
The text of SCP-#### is a range of statements about our world. More recent statements have been able to be verified as true. So far, no statements have been verified as false. Confirming the validity of older statements is dubious do to lack of concrete historic data.
Many lines have been crossed out beyond recognition. Attempts to mark lines of text within the notebook do not produce any effect.
Any false statements that are communicated within a 5 meter radius of SCP-#### will become true and are recorded into SCP-#### in the handwriting of the original communicator. This is believed to be completed through retrocausality. No attempts have been made to redact or remove pages or lines from SCP-#### and no plans for future test attempts have been scheduled. No attempts to test statements that potentially alter fundamental forces have been scheduled.
When a false statement has occurred with in range, all personnel within 5 meters will experience a medium amnestic effect, forget their purpose at that location, and leave SCP-#### in that area. Notes prerecorded for pre and post trial observation remain intact, unless the false statement would directly interfere with the recording of said notes.
True statements and statements made about the future have no affect and when written in SCP-#### disappear the next time it is opened. Users do not experience amnestic effects upon taking these actions.
Attempts to recover memories using Class-X antimemetic drugs have been successful for personnel with in the 5 meter radius. After recovery of memories, some personnel may experience dissociative identity disorder unless amnestic drugs are taken to remove returned memories.*(Interviews with afflicted personnel suggests that their timeline was changed in a dramatic way as to have a significantly altered personality when compared to the original timeline, personnel that have similar personalities in both timelines do not have pronounced effects). Recovered memories of people that do not exist in the current timeline have been recorded.
Personnel outside of the 5 meter range to not appear to have experienced amnestic effects since they are believed to have belonged to the new timeline. No class of antimemetic drugs will recover memories of the retrocausality event for these users.
SCP-#### has been in SCP containment since 19██. The first records of SCP-#### indicate ██████ ████████ brought SCP-#### in with them and sealed it in its first containment unit which matches our current containment vaults specifications. SCP-#### existed in the SCP system for an estimated ██ years before minimal containment procedures were written after a containment breach. These breaches were discovered by Marion Wheeler due to her use of antimemetic drugs and procedures. Increased procedures were added on ██/██/20██ after the escape and recapture of [REDACTED]. A line from SCP-#### indicates someone* (presumably ██████ ████████ though no records of ██████ ████████ exist outside of the documents in this article and SCP-####) wrote that this book has been placed into a controlled and secure environment.

I was able to bring SCP-#### back to its containment area after multiple anomalies were noticed in [REDACTED].
It took two tries. I had a hunch and wrote down my plan to take SCP-#### back. After an unexpected conversation with a coworker, I experienced an amnesic episode and left SCP-#### on the ground and walked away.
After reviewing my hourly notes, I retraced my steps and found SCP-#### in the hallway. Reading the last line of text in SCP-####, I tried a different approach as listed below.
- Outside of the estimated range of SCP-####, write down planned action/statement.
- Approach SCP-#### and voice said statement.
- Review notes and check if it matches SCP-####.
████████ and I were able to successfully return SCP-#### to its cell. After taking Class-X, our memories recovered and both of our notes accurately matches the text inside SCP-####.
Conclusion: Study of SCP-#### is possible and should begin immediately.
Upon attempting TEST 1 it was noted that the ceiling of SCP-####'s vault was colored blue. Standard colors for containment cells range from white to grey.
In accordance with the specific dictation of the last line in SCP-####. It is assumed that TEST 1 was already completed.
No Researcher has memory of the event. Marion Wheeler was present but was unable to recall the event, even after the use of Class-X drugs. After giving all researchers present class Class-X drugs it was found that only ████████ ████████ and ████ ██████████ were able to recall the event and that all other researchers present were further then 5 Meters from SCP-####.
This will be marked as TEST 1. No documentation from TEST 1 have been found dating before this most recent test attempt.

Notes all Researchers except Researcher 3's notes of trial 3 were recovered at a later times when their pre-scheduled dose of Class-X drugs recovered their memories. Researcher 3 was unable to recover their memories and their notes of trial 3 cannot be found. Memories of trials from researchers 1 and 2 were intact without use of Class-X drugs but required intense memory recall techniques.
Researcher 1 and 2 state that they vaguely remember that the ball might have been red after taking Class-X. Recorded notes suggest otherwise. Potential retro-causality event. Event does not completely remove notes and memories from personnel inside a 5m range but make memory modifications to fit continuity.

It is noted that D-47383 received Spanish lessons soon before being transferred to SCP(possible minimal effect on causality). Does SCP-#### take the path of least resistance to prevent a butterfly effect? Additional and more careful testing is suggested.*
