Item #: SCP-5219
Object Class:Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: [Paragraphs explaining the procedures]
Description:SCP-5219 is a dining hall located within a wooden shed in the Wabakimi Provincial Park, Canada. It houses a single table and a varying amount of chairs, with one chair always left off to the side. A single candle lamp appears to replenish itself with a new set of candles, though where said candles come from is currently unknown. Engraved upon the entrance is a sentence in unidentified language, which has recently come to be identified as a dialect of Old Norse. It reads the following;
| Welcome weary traveler. Come down and rest. Do not make the mistake my friends once made |
Whenever opened, SCP-5219 immediately creates enough chairs to accommodate the guest, as well as materializing cutlery and food despite not containing a kitchen. During experiments, said food has varied from subject to subject, yet all describe the food as tasting "like home cooking". Tests on the meat contained within the meals seem to indicate a mixture of Great Ape meat and other identified materials including linen. Further tests are to be conducted to further narrow down the meat and materials. Materialized meals have contained:
- Unidentified Soup with what appears to be beer
- Barley Porridge with a unidentified meat
- Steak of unknown origins
- Smoked fish
- Nettle soup
