Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained permanently at Site-██, and to be under 24/7 surveillance. SCP-XXXX is to be held in a 20m x 20m x 10m containment cell composed entirely out of thirty centimeter thick titanium and given amenities composed of the same material. Such aforementioned amenities include, but are not limited to, one queen size bed, two end tables, one bookshelf, and one weapon rack. Under no circumstances are any lighters, torches, or any other producers of flame to be brought into SCP-XXXX’s cell. Both the cell and the amenities are to be coated in a flame retardant substance so that the effects of SCP-XXXX-1 may be negated. The aforementioned substance is created only by the Foundation’s scientists. The formula for the substance can be accessed with the authorization of personnel with Level 4 security clearance. The outside of the cell is to be guarded 24/7 by no less than four armed guards with Level 3 security clearance. In the event of a breach, small arms and non-lethal weaponry may be used against SCP-XXXX, as it does not exhibit durability beyond that of an average human being.
Under no circumstances are any personnel of any authorization to attempt to remove SCP-XXXX-1 from SCP-XXXX’s containment cell, and XXXX-1 must be kept at a maximum distance of five meters from SCP-XXXX at all times. Any further distance causes SCP-XXXX to become extremely agitated and hostile. The weapon’s temperature seems to increase the further it is from SCP-XXXX. An unknown entity within the weapon seems to be the cause of this anomaly. This entity will not be independently designated, as it is part of SCP-XXXX-1. The only exception to this is for research purposes involving D-Class Personnel only, and must be authorized by Foundation personnel with Level 4 security clearance or higher. However, due to the nature of SCP-XXXX while being within five meters or less of SCP-XXXX-1, interviews during this state may be authorized by personnel with Level 2 Security Clearance. SCP-XXXX is allowed to roam the facility as long as it is guarded by the entirety of either MTF Alpha-1 (“Red Right Hand”) or MTF Gamma-5 (“Red Herrings”) , as well as a researcher it is familiar with. Any time it requests to walk through the facility it must be authorized by a member of the O5-Council, as SCP-XXXX can be unpredictable. Dr. ████████ is a researcher it prefers over all others, as it describes them as “agreeable”. These permissions are given based on good behavior, and may be revoked if necessary. It is advised not to ask SCP-XXXX to accompany any other guards within the facility unless MTFs Alpha-1 and Gamma-5 are not available, as this proves to only aggravate SCP-XXXX. The origin of its preference to be guarded by these two Mobile Task Forces is currently unknown, however the members of both of these Mobile Task Forces don’t protest to accompanying SCP-XXXX as long as they are not assigned to another task at the time. Under no circumstances are any personnel to build a friendship with SCP-XXXX. To prevent this personnel that are suspected of growing close to SCP-XXXX must subject it to either physical or mental torture. (See Addendum XXXX-1)
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a caucasian male, approximately 1.80 meters tall, and its age is currently undetermined as it has refused to reveal such information to the Foundation. XXXX wears a suit of illustrious white armour dating back to the 14th century, which appears to be in the same condition that the armour would have been made. The armour seems to have Norse inspirations, as much of the armour has been made using Norse smithing techniques according to expert blacksmiths and historians that have examined the armour. Taking in historical inconsistencies of the historical use of Norse smithing techniques, as well as the rarity of smiths who would use these techniques, the armour is theorized to have been crafted by SCP-XXXX as there is no other possible explanation. However, despite its amazing condition, XXXX claims to have been in thousands of battles throughout the years. The armour itself has runes of unknown origin engraved into its chest plate, however these runes bear a striking resemblance to [DATA REDACTED] runes. Although these similarities exist, translation of the runes has proved impossible as of the time of this file’s creation. The armour also has a golden trim, although this trim doesn’t add to any anomalous effects the armour has.
SCP-XXXX’s armour has cracks upon it, revealing what looks like molten lava underneath, however the cracks do not emit heat nor do they harm anything they touch. When asked to remove the armour, XXXX has the skin of a normal human being. The cracks are determined to be part of the armour. Its body has a much higher body temperature than that of a normal human being, its usual body temperature being 323 K. However, when some individuals that have a positive relationship with SCP-XXXX approach and make physical contact with it, its body temperature is described as “comfortably warm” or “pleasant”. This feeling is intensified when the individual is cold. However, once agitated, its body temperature is shown to increase by 150K. It is currently unknown as to how its body doesn’t combust or burst open from the sudden temperature change, or even how it manages to maintain such a temperature. This is currently under investigation. SCP-XXXX’s armour constantly releases embers. The reason for this is due to SCP-XXXX’s anomalous effects.
SCP-XXXX is also in the possession of a weapon made of an unknown material. This weapon has been designated SCP-XXXX-1. It can take whatever form XXXX desires as long as it is a either a bladed weapon, or a weapon dated between the 5th and 14th Century. This information has assisted the Foundation in its attempt to approximate XXXX’s age. This blade seems to be constantly lit aflame, however it doesn’t seem to harm whoever is wielding it. Due to spectrographic analysis, the temperature of the blade has been pinpointed at 1273K. When seperated from SCP-XXXX-1 by a distance of more than five meters, XXXX goes into a blind rage, killing anything in close approximation using its anomalous effect. XXXX can create flames and manipulate them at will in any way it wishes. It has used flame in the form of a ranged explosive projectile, a stream of flame, a mode of teleportation (however it cannot teleport through titanium as it's molecular structure doesn't allow flame or heated air to pass through it), as well as a method of healing. However, extensive use of this effect causes SCP-XXXX great pain.
Addendum XXXX-1: SCP-XXXX is currently being used to assist Mobile Task Forces, MTF Alpha-1 (“Red Right Hand”) and MTF Gamma-5 (“Red Herrings”), in recapturing any SCPs that have breached containment. SCP-XXXX’s affiliation with both MTFs is not a result of the Omega-7 Project, nor is it part of any formal Project involving its missions for the Foundation. Ever since the Omega-7 Project’s failure, more extensive precautions were made to make sure the Foundation could better control any SCPs working with any MTFs, and such precautions were taken in the form of the O5 Council’s complete authority over SCP-XXXX’s missions alongside MTF Alpha-1 (“Red Right Hand”). Tests have been made to confirm that SCP-XXXX is slightly hostile to these MTFs during or after their assignments. SCP-XXXX's actions are to be constantly regulated, and it is to be granted no freedom in it's decisions if it threatens Foundation security or its own containment. However, in any time that it isn’t assisting these MTFs, it is assisting in the containment of SCP-610. Its anomalous effects have proven useful for the containment of SCP-610. However, due to the strain put on XXXX due to the extensive use of its anomalous effect, it will be returned to its cell if it cannot continue to assist in 610's containment and it will be forced to continue when it can. XXXX has been questioned on why it has agreed to help the Foundation. It was also asked many other questions of varying importance, however many of these records were lost after the breach of SCP-███. The following is one of the records that the Foundation still has possession of.

Dr. ████████: “So, why did you agree to help the Foundation? Why don’t you try to escape like the other SCPs?
SCP-XXXX: “Your organization seems to have an…aligned goal with me. Some of the SCPs, as you call them, have a history with me. I wish to kill some of them. However, your organization doesn’t allow that. If I had my way, they would all be dead already. In any case assisting in their containment is satisfying.”
SCP-XXXX: “Believe it or not, Doctor, I tolerate being here. The people are less than likeable though, including you. The food is delicious at times. However, if I really wanted to I could definitely break out of here. I won't hesitate to kill anyone that gets in my way so that I may once again serve my purpose. Those two bands of warriors you keep forcing me to assist will be first if I get the opportunity."
Dr.████████: *Writing down notes.* “So, what is your relationship with the people here? And what is your relationship with SCP-XXXX-1?”
SCP-XXXX: “Like I said, Doctor, the people here are less than agreeable. However, I have grown to loath those D-Class dogs you send into my cell to attempt to steal the artifact I have been tasked with guarding for centuries. If you send another one of those disgusting insects into my cell again I will [DATA REDACTED]!!”

Closing Statement: *The Interview was soon terminated due to SCP-XXXX’s growing aggression and agitation. Dr. ████████ was immediately escorted out of its cell, however SCP-XXXX had ended up breaching containment. This resulted of the deaths of ██ personnel.*
Addendum XXXX-2: SCP-XXXX is well versed in many languages including Latin, Old West Norse, and Icelandic. However, XXXX’s full intelligence and lingual capabilities are currently unknown. Researchers were told by SCP-XXXX that its birthplace is [DATA REDACTED]. It has shown knowledge in several martial arts and combat strategies, however their uses are generally blended together from our observations. SCP-XXXX is trained in Chivalric Combat, Advanced Swordsmanship, Tai-Chi, Judo, and Aikido. It is unknown as to how it knows martial arts from eastern lands. This information was personally given to the Foundation by SCP-XXXX. It is theorized that it learned them on its travels. The following is a series of experiments involving D-Class personnel interacting with SCP-XXXX.
Test A - ██/██/████
Subject: D-1423B (Male)
Procedure: D-1423B was ordered to enter SCP-XXXX’s cell and attempt to retrieve SCP-XXXX-1.
Results: Subject entered SCP-XXXX’s cell successfully, however upon approaching SCP-XXXX-1 the Subject was questioned by XXXX as to why he was going near its weapon. Subject was ordered through an earpiece to obtain the weapon, but upon touching it the Subject was immediately killed by SCP-XXXX. The method in which SCP-XXXX had killed the Subject was by throwing flame in the form of an explosive projectile. The Subject’s body was badly burnt and had been ripped apart by the blast. A clean-up crew was sent in to remove the corpse.
Analysis: Upon further analyzation, SCP-XXXX seems to be in great pain as it uses it's anomalous effect, as well as the fact that it refuses to use it unless it is in danger or its weapon is in danger. This is likely due to [DATA REDACTED], the entity within the weapon.
Test B - ██/██/████
Subject: D-1999A (Male), D-158 (Female), D-8888 (Female)
Procedure: To attempt to obtain SCP-XXXX-1 by any means necessary, except for killing SCP-XXXX.
Results: D-1999A attempted to approach SCP-XXXX-1 and retrieve it. He was immediately incinerated by SCP-XXXX, his body seemingly being reduced to ashes. D-158 and D-8888 show signs of fear at this point in the experiment and ask to abort. They are both ordered through an earpiece to proceed. Both D-8888 and D-158 attempt to communicate with SCP-XXXX, requesting that the sword be removed temporarily from its cell for research. (See Addendum XXXX-3) This results in SCP-XXXX reluctantly allowing the two to leave with SCP-XXXX-1.
Analysis: Researchers are investigating what the purpose of SCP-XXXX-1 is. For further information, please read Addendum XXXX-3.
Addendum XXXX-3: After the temporary retrieval of SCP-XXXX-1, it was analyzed and studied for a period of █ months. During separation from its weapon, SCP-XXXX has shown signs of extreme agitation. However, consistent visits with Dr. ████████ have been shown to slightly calm it. During separation from SCP-XXXX-1, any D-Class personnel, security personnel, and unfamiliar research personnel that have entered SCP-XXXX’s cell have been killed immediately by SCP-XXXX. The methods of killing seem to vary, however a mean has been determined out of the methods that have been seen. Usually, XXXX will kill by dismembering, incinerating, strangling, snapping the victim’s neck, or by punching through the victim’s chest and removing its heart. We have determined that SCP-XXXX has strength above that of the average human being after observing these feats. This information will be used to develop counter-tactics in the event of SCP-XXXX becoming hostile. The following interview regards SCP-XXXX-1’s purpose and history, as well as the history of SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX: “Find out when the first conflict between two beings occurred, and then find out how long it has been since then. You’ll know how old I am once you do.”
Dr. ████████: “What is SCP-XXXX-1? Why are you so fixed on keeping it in your care?”
SCP-XXXX: “Do you like long stories, Doctor? If so I will tell you.”
Dr. ████████: “I don’t mind. We’re here to talk about you, so you can take your time. Just keep it below ██ minutes.”
SCP-XXXX: “It’s beyond the comprehension of most beings. I have always lived alongside this weapon, however it’s capable of so much evil without it being in my hands. The demon, [DATA REDACTED], has its power sealed within the blade. I was tasked with keeping it, and I will continue to do so. If I ever let it slip from my grasp, this entire world will end because of my mistake.”
Dr. ████████: *Jotting down notes, specifically jotting down that SCP-XXXX-1 may be capable of bringing about an XK-Class end-of-the-world event.* “I see. Who tasked you with protecting it?”
SCP-XXXX: “…”
Dr. ████████: “How many people have you killed, foundation personnel included, in the defense of the weapon?”
SCP-XXXX: “Enough.”
Dr. ████████: “You mentioned that you’ve been involved in what you claim to be ‘countless conflicts’. Can you elaborate on any specific conflicts? Is there anything the foundation should know?”
SCP-XXXX: “I’ll tell you. There was one war specifically that I was dragged into. Everyone seems to call it World War II. The German Wehrmacht was troubling me on my way back through Europe in 1943. They were gathering a being of immense power at the point of access to my homeland, [DATA REDACTED], and I don’t yet understand how they ripped it from its place in the stars. I think they were trying to weaponize it. Those fools even let it get back to the moon. [DATA REDACTED] must not escape your organization’s grasp as long as the lunar god roams the skies. The Allfather’s life must be prolonged as much as possible.”
Dr. ████████: “We have all we need. Thank you for your time, XXXX. Just…try not to kill anymore people in your time here.”
SCP-XXXX: “That is a difficult request…”
