Special containment procedure: Scp-4027 is to be kept in a glass cube 8x8 meters and suspended 3 feet off from any matter that isn't glass. The cube is required to be air tightly sealed. If testing, 2 guards or more are equipped with roughly 2 inch glass shields are required to stand at the entrance of the cube.

Description: Scp-4027 was located at site [REDACTED] in tibet. Scp-4027 appears to be covered in a grayish liquid substance that forms into thick spines that can extend up to 2 feet at maximum.The spines can become hard and launch with the speeds of 4500 fps. It is unknown how it can react these speeds. The spine can peirce through any substance exept glass, the spines bouce off glass but can still crack it. The lower part of it has 4 larger spines that reach 4 feet but can bend into 2 segmented legs for mobility and can go speeds up to 28mph. It's total size is 1 1/2 meters standing, for now. At the bottom of scp-4027 it seems to be flat with a humanoid mouth. It can squeeze though any sized hole that is bigger than 1/10 of a millimeter.

During testing, 2 subjects are sent into the cube and are ordered to step close to scp-4027. This triggers scp-4027 to produce a loud screeching sound through its mouth simular to that of a tire rubbing against a road. The sound is loud to reach 100+ decibels. This makes the subject nauseated and disabled and a time forwhen scp-4027 now fires it's spines at the subjects. The spines impale through the throat and starts to disintegrate the subjects until they turn into the grayish liquid. Then the liquid returns to scp-4027 via the mouth, reforming the spine and also gaining and regrowing 2 more spines and gaining size of 2 cm.

Dr. [REDACTED] had ordered a guard to gather a spine sample for study and was able to gather 1, methods unknown. Didn't have enough time until the spine grew after 30 minutes into scp-4027-b, a smaller version of scp-4027.
