Description:

SCP-XXXX's manifestation was first reported on January 10th 2010 on a highway near ohio. SCP-XXXX manifestations usually appear at 4:00 AM, usually SCP-XXXX has only been seen in photographs taken on the road around 4:00 AM.

SCP-XXXX's head looks to resemble a humanoid or monkey, SCP-XXXX's limbs are Quadrupedal in nature but has not been seen moving. the skin of SCP-XXXX is seen to be devoid of pigmentation, it is not yet determined if SCP-XXXX's manifestations can be physically touched or not. in all photos taken containing SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX is looking in the direction of the photographer despite the direction that SCP-XXXX's lower body is facing.

Containment Procedures:

in the event of another photo being taken of SCP-XXXX, the photographer must be found, given Class-A amnestics. after amnestics have been administered, the photo containing SCP-XXXX is to be taken to SITE-19 for review. this is only effective if photographer has taken the photo 6-12 hours before the amnestic is administered. any longer will require a higher level amnestic.

it is not clear if SCP-XXXX is lethal, further research is needed. the original area that SCP-XXXX has been blocked off, further research of the area will begin on December/5TH/2017. in every manifestation of SCP-XXXX, claw or scratch marks are reported on a nearby tree or structure which will now on be reffered to as "SCP-XXXX-2", see Addendum XXXX-1

once applied on a vertical structure, SCP-XXXX-2 will begin emitting a pheromone that induces anxiety in humans.

Addendum-XXXX-1:

after the first initial manifestation of SCP-XXXX, a research team was sent to the location of discovery. once there, the researchers found what looked like "carvings or markings" on a nearby tree. most of the researchers agreed that it appeared to be some sort of "Tick Tac Toe" game. one of the researchers mistakenly touched the symbol, upon contact the researcher's skin slowly went devoid of pigmentation. the researcher fainted, minutes later they woke up in SITE-19's medical bay with guns drawn to their head. they stated "what I saw was the most horrifying thing I will ever remember.

after 20 days they explained what had happened in an interview. this interview goes as follows

interviewer: "so... you ready to speak yet? still traumatized?"

interviewee: "I'm ready"

interviewer: "ok begin when you're ready"

interviewee: "so when I touched that symbol thing on the tree?"

(interviewee pauses for 30 seconds)

interviewer: "go on."

interviewee: (sighs) "I... saw, the SCP from the photo, it is more 
scary up close than it is in the picture."

interviewer: "I heard you say "up close" can you please explain what you mean 
by that?"

interviewee: " I mean it was in my face, staring into my soul!"

interviewer: "calm down, don't yell in here SCP-939's containment cell is above us.

(interviewee looks up, then looks back at interviewer"

interviewee: "sorry"

interviewer: "don't be sorry, you just didn't know... ok I think this is enough to 
work with, I'll check up on you tomorrow, until then goodbye"

interviewee: "see ya tomorrow"

(footsteps are heard going toward the left side of the room, the interviewee 
exits the room
