Special Containment Procedures: A perimeter of custom programmed Scranton Reality Anchors (SRAs) have been established around every Zone border. Each perimeter must be examined once every three weeks by a designated team of engineers. They will be escorted by Mobile Task Force Antares-4 to ensure the successful maintenance of the perimeter and to provide backup engineering support in the event of casualties. All members of MTF Antares-4 will be trained in SRA programming and maintenance and will be regularly evaluated for performance standards. Both teams must score higher than a 13 on the Foundation Standardized Mental Hazard Resistance Scale, and appear for a weekly psychiatric screening. Selected personnel may be required to undergo amnestic or mnestic treatment.
Regular patrol squads will survey Zone Red and Zone Green with a shift change every 8 hours and are tasked with reporting any new anomalies that may compromise a facility's security. Personnel are encouraged to report any unusual thoughts, behavior, or symptoms while on duty or off duty. The maximum allowed service for unspecialized personnel in the Red Zone is 6 months, and in the Green Zone is 5 years. Stationed security personnel are to maintain road checkpoints that lead into Zone Green and turn away any unauthorized vehicles. Resistance is to be met with force authorized by the acting Chief Security Officer including but not limited to physical restraint, physical harm, amnestic treatment, or death of trespassers. Foundation Airspace Regulation Networks will reroute all flights passing directly over all three zones as early as possible. Any aircraft that are unsuccessfully rerouted are considered lost, to be shot down with SAM turrets, and information disseminated to the media suggesting that the craft had crashed.
Zone Black is to be kept off-limits to all personnel and civilians. This includes research, security, and administration involved with SCP-XXXX's containment. Any personnel or citizens caught in Zone Black are considered lost and are not to be retrieved by any means or destroyed if they present a threat to Foundation staff or property
Description: SCP-XXXX refers to an area in the mainland United States currently measuring ██ by ██ kilometers. It has been designated into three separate zones rated by their degree of anomalous influence: Zone Green, Zone Red, and Zone Black. The general area of anomalous influence has grown at a steady rate of █.██ kilometers per year since the initial discovery of SCP-XXXX. The current containment procedures have slowed the rate to less than 20 meters per year. The rate of anomalous occurrences has also diminished significantly. However, the unpredictable nature in the more unstable zones has not changed. Anomalous influence is not limited to the ground and has been reported as high as the upper atmosphere.
Zone Green is the established "safe" perimeter that most non-essential Foundation personnel operate in. The anomalous influence in this area is minimal. Varying accounts of anomalous activity have been observed including floating grass, rocks with locomotion, unusual mutation of flora and fauna, etc. The anomalies in this Zone are consistently benign or otherwise not problematic to security.
Zone Red is noticeably more unstable. Observed phenomena are drastic in difference; chromatic pillars seen rising from the ground and disappearing, "solid" air, and quadruped organisms not found on Earth. On another account, an entire replica of earth made out of a brass colored material was seen in the area that measured approximately 500 meters by 500 meters. It was observed for 6 hours before it appeared to be melting and began to seep through the ground, then disappeared entirely after 34 hours. No trace of the material was found in the ground or surrounding area. Without proper inoculation or preparation for mental hazards, exposure to this area could lead to permanent damage or change in the psyche of living creatures. Symptoms of mental disorder begin to develop in people exposed to this area within 6 months. Symptoms and severity range from individual to individual.
Zone Black is a highly unstable and hazardous center of anomalous activity; it can be viewed from a distance or specialized recording devices. Under regular viewing conditions, personnel experiencing sensory input from this area have reported local reality distortions, cognitohazardous or memetic effects, sensory overload, varying accounts of creatures ranging from extremely tall humanoids to chitinous organisms, and buildings with symbols not previously found in Foundation archives. Material going into this area will adopt new anomalous properties after approximately one hour of exposure. There is a crux in Zone Black that has not been reliably observed but is hypothesized to be an "overflowing reality well" that is responsible for the outpouring of anomalous activity. New hume level readings have been recorded across multiple instruments, and all current methods of measurement or recording (photo, video, temperature, air density, lumens, humidity, time, etc.) do not correlate into consistent or expected results. This has made quantifying the exact area of effect nearly impossible.
Initial Discovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered on ██/██/████ after citizens in a rural area in ███████ began calling local authorities over various unusual complaints, persons missing, and suspected break-ins. Four investigation agents were sent out to question the locals about their experiences and amnesticize them if necessary. Upon arrival, agent ██████ ███████ reported watching a stone at his feet move a distance of 2 meters unassisted over several seconds, which was confirmed by standard bodycam recording. The object was acquired as evidence. Eyewitness accounts by locals described small creatures that had been attacking family pets, leaving unusually mutilated corpses not typical with predatory behavior. Viscera had been arranged in patterns with some structure, this is speculated to be writing but not confirmed. Other accounts included bright lights, unusual sounds, or changes in the surrounding landscape not typical with human activity or natural activity. Anomalous changes in the area were confirmed after a two month observation period; a brook which previously did not exist was spotted running through and disappeared after eleven days. Changes in elevation were inconsistent with topographic maps of the area after this period.
After deliberation by senior researchers and administrative staff, a base of operation was deemed necessary to confirm if anomalies in the area were coincidental or a small part of larger anomalous influence. A request was submitted to the Overseer Council by Senior Researcher █████ █████ and Administrative Consultant ████ ██████. The request was approved 14 hours later. Site-██ was functional ██ months afterward, and 40 days after that declaration the area was cataloged as SCP-XXXX. Containment procedures were established following a presentation by Site Director ████ ██████ and Chief Security Officer ███ █████████.
Addendum SCP-XXXX-CK-DR: This portion of the document entails the "Broken Wall" Reality Anchor Failure Scenario.
Under the extraordinary circumstances that all or many SRAs are not functional or begin to malfunction at a rate that cannot be conventionally handled, a Code "Broken Wall" will be broadcast to all Foundation assets currently tasked with the containment of SCP-XXXX. All personnel currently in Zone Red will be notified to evacuate the area immediately to a minimum safe distance of 2 kilometers from the Red-Green border.
22 Foundation satellites have been positioned above the current perimeter of Zone Red and Black. Each are equipped with 12 re-entry capable containers each housing pre-programmed SRAs on standby that can be remotely activated. Containment Control will then determine the affected areas on the perimeter and will deliver SRA capsules at their discretion.
In the event Containment Control cannot assess the situation or the breach is excessive, all currently installed SRAs are to be remotely deactivated and protocol Falling Skies is to be enacted immediately. During protocol Falling Skies, all satellites are to dispense all of their payloads to a calculated set of perimeters based on growth projections of SCP-XXXX's area of influence. MTF Antares-4 is to assist in the assessment of the new zones, to make any repairs or changes necessary, and to retrieve broken or deactivated equipment.
In the event the "Broken Wall" Scenario cannot be resolved, an imminent CK-Class Reality Restructuring Event is to be declared and the Overseer Council is to be notified by the acting Site Director immediately. Orders will be given as they become available.

If there is one thing in life that I genuinely believe in, it is that seconds count. Every second I spend writing this is another second I do not get back. Every second you do not spend focused on your objective is a second lost to every other Foundation operative and humanity as a whole. You can buy us time though. Without your efforts here none of us would have the second to spare right now.
We die in the dark not only so that those that live in the light can continue to do so, but so that we may understand the darkness that binds us. Without that knowledge, our efforts might as well be our cries before the guillotine.
