Item #: SCP-5680
Object Class: Safe Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5680 is to be contained in a fully dry 5mx5mx5m room with walls 1m in thickness, which can be accessed by level 2 researchers and higher. No liquid is to be present during interviews/tests. SCP-5680 can exit its containment cell if the request is accepted by two level 3 staff or one level 4/higher staff.
Description: SCP-5680 is a humanoid robot with a gray colored body with red parts, with a screen that shows two eyes: right white eye and left red eye.
SCP-5680 in its normal state
SCP-5680 is sapient, as it is able to communicate via morse code, and is pacifistic in its intentions, as it only wants to talk. It seems to understand almost all languages except for Norwegian, Russian, Chinese and Greek.
The subject seems to have interest in art, mostly aquarelle, drawing flowers like dandelions, sunflowers, roses and other. Subject have also been seen to have an attraction to books, which it seems to read at a speed of approximately 700 words per minute and remembering the whole story in descriptive details.
Subject doesn't seem to need any food, and trying to give water to SCP-5680 resulted in Accident-5680-A. The subject seems to have an average human walking speed. SCP-5680 needs energy, which he takes from supposedly sleeping, although it is unsure if it simulates sleep with an another process or really sleeps.
Additional Notes: SCP-5680 was found in an old house, presumably 19th century in Brazil, which was owned by Mr. D█████ ████. D█████ was supposedly a "mad scientist" who wanted to create a pacifist robot that would help him stay sane for the rest of his life. After he created SCP-5680, he died. It is suggested that he died because of pneumothorax.
Addendum-5680-1: Turns out SCP-5680 can teleport in a range of 1 meter, as long as it's not seen by anyone and there is space to where it teleports. It was also found out that it can walk thrice the speed of an average human for a bigger cost of its energy.
Addendum-5680-2: After Accident-5680-A researchers tried to get the SCP-5680-1 substance for diagnosis. After Accident-5680-B Dr. K████ recovered a sample during the subject's regeneration. It was further investigated that the substance is made out of carbon, barium, chlorine and an unknown material. After cross testing with SCP-999 it was found out SCP-5680-1 forms the only organic part of SCP-5680's body.
It was also suggested that SCP-5680 will get calmed down once it had fueled it's rage and can calm down.
Addendum-5680-3: After the Interview with SCP-5680, it was found out that the subject enters the enraged state after water is spilled near it, which seems to lead to SCP-5680 being hydrophobic. If SCP-5680 touches/sees water spilling, then it enters it's rage state and doesn't remember anything in it. After it fuels it's rage with killing the main target, if the target wasn't enough, the subject will continue looking for victims, going on a rampage. After it comes back to its normal state, it begins regenerating its cracks in the screen with SCP-5680-1. It seems that even an average automatic gun can't shoot through it's body, except the screen. It's still unknown how it simulates human stress, emotions, exhaustion and interests, and how it teleports. Further research will be done to explain those things.
Addendum-5680-4: SCP-5680-2 was fully researched. It contains of a molecule of unknown metal which was called hydrochlophinis, chlorine and the same unknown material as in SCP-5680-1. It was also found out that SCP-5680-2 regenerates the body far slower, although it is still impossible to prevent it from regenerating in hydrochloric acid.
Accident-5680-A: While suggesting water, researcher Dr. ██████ accidentally spilled water on the floor, and SCP-5680 got enraged. During the rage, the subject's head cracked and opened in the middle, revealing hoardes of sharp teeth. It's seemingly normal hands transformed into saws and it started running towards Dr. ██████ and eviscerating him. After that, the subject hunted down more victims, but it was shot in the screen and then shut down.
SCP-5680 in its enraged state
After the incident SCP-5680 didn't remember anything from the moment water got spilled, and refused to accept that it killed Dr. ██████, 3 guards and a researcher. After it woke up, its fracture in the screen faded away, with a goo filling it and becoming solid glass in 5-10 minutes. The matter was named SCP-5680-1.
Request to reclassify SCP-5680 as Euclid pending to the O5 council. was accepted by the O5 council.
Accident-5680-B: During a breakout, SCP-████ killed a researcher, and the blood dropped right on SCP-5680. Subject engaged in a battle, crushing and cutting through SCP-████. SCP-5680 suddenly calmed down, and came back to it's normal self. Although it had a few minor fractures in its screen, they got filled by SCP-5680-1 and started regenerating. Dr. K████ got a sample of the strange substance for research.
The following materials about SCP-5680 are accesible only to level 4 staff and higher
Interviewed: SCP-5680
Interviewer: Dr. K████
Foreword: The interview went smoothly, not much information was gained.
<Begin Log>
Dr. K████: Hello. Today I would like to talk with you a bit. And don't worry, i didn't bring any water.
SCP-5680: Hi. I will answer any questions I can.
Dr. K████: Good. My first question is, do you remember anything about what happened during your rage?
SCP-5680: I don't remember anything.
Dr. K████: Ok. As my second question, do you feel any pain from cracks in your screen?
SCP-5680: *looks directly at Dr. K████* I feel a little discomfort, but it disappears in a few minutes.
Dr. K████: Do you feel SCP-5680-1, while regenerating, or after that?
SCP-5680: I feel a little coldiness, which remains for approximately an hour, after what disappears. I can't really see it, but I am surely able to feel it.
Dr. K████: Is SCP-5680-1 a different creature, or is it a part of you in a way?
SCP-5680: *scratches neck* It feels like a part of me, I think something inside of me produces it. I am not sure if it is alive although.
Dr. K████: Why do you like painting and reading? Is it interesting, or is it a hobby of yours?
SCP-5680: *after a long pause* Reading and painting makes me relax and forget from the problems, and even though I am a robot, I can still feel stress and exhaustion I want to sometimes disappear, and doing those things helps me feel good for a little.
Dr. K████: Why do you have a hatred of water?
SCP-5680: *after a very long pause* I can't answer that question, sorry.
Dr. K████: How do you remember your creator?
SCP-5680: *starts staring at the floor* I don't remember him clearly, but he tried to protect me. One day he died, and I was in his room, but I couldn't remember anything.
Dr. K████: Did you see how he died, or who killed him?
SCP-5680: *continues looking at the floor* I was just in his room, standing there, and suddenly, a cup of water fell, and… He died. That is all I remember.
Dr. K████: Thank you for answering, I will go now.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: It seems as SCP-5680 killed its creator itself because he spilled water. The subject does not remember anything when it is enraged, so it means it is not in control. Dr. K████ left the containment chamber.
There was an attempt to terminate SCP-5680, beginning with a minigun, which shot the subject. Subject's body was not hurt even due to such rapid fire, but the screen got badly damaged, but recovered with SCP-5680-1. After the minigun testing SCP-5680 didn't remember anything, which seems to conclude that the subject does not remember anything if the screen gets damaged. After that it was suggested to try a bazooka. When the subject got shot, its body got some average cracks, and the screen got demolished, revealing the inside, which seemed to be a generator of SCP-5680-1, made out of the same material the whole body is made off. The generator was impossible to pull out, as it was basically stuck in there. After that a level 4 researcher noticed that the cracks in SCP-5680's body started filling up with yet another unknown substance, which was called SCP-5680-2. A sample of SCP-5680-2 was taken and researched. The O5 council thought about the situation and tried terminating SCP-5680 with a ███████. With that powerful force SCP-5680's body was fully destroyed, but it was found out it had an indestructible endoskeleton, as far the foundation knows. Even hydrochloric acid can't prevent SCP-5680-2 from regenerating the body of the subject.
Request to reclassify SCP-5680 as Keter pending to the O5 council.
Test A - 19.07.2020
Subject: SCP-5680
Procedure: Present different liquids to the subject, counting glass
Results: The subject felt distress to all liquids, but less stress to liquids with more viscosity.
Analysis: SCP-5680 will feel stressed if he feels any liquid, although the more viscosity the less stress the liquid gives to the subject.
Test B - 20.07.2020
Subject: SCP-999
Procedure: Introduce to SCP-5680
Results: SCP-999 started tickling SCP-5680, but SCP-5680 didn't feel anything, until SCP-999 tickled the screen.
Analysis: It seems that the screen is the only organic part of SCP-5680's body.
Test C - 21.07.2020
Subject: SCP-085
Procedure: Introduce to SCP-5680
Results: SCP-5680 reacted friendly, painted a bouquete for SCP-085.
Analysis: SCP-5680 seems to be friendly to any being while in its normal state.
Test D - 22.07.2020
Subject: SCP-387
Procedure: Introduce to SCP-5680
Results: SCP-5680 refused to interact with SCP-387 just as he saw it with the words "this brings me bad memories"
Analysis: It seems that SCP-5680 has some bad memories involving a regular set of LEGO.
Test E - 23.07.2020
Subject: SCP-294
Procedure: Introduce to SCP-5680
Results: SCP-5680 was asked to enter "something I would like" into the machine. SCP-294 dispensed an empty cup with drawings of flowers on it.
Analysis: Counting that SCP-5680 has hatred to liquids and love to drawing, the results are pretty logic.
Test F - 24.07.2020
Subject: SCP-4739
Procedure: Introduce to SCP-5680
Results: SCP-5680 was asked to say if he feels any liquid inside. He replied with a confident and distressed "Yes", and then added "It seems to be milk".
Analysis: So SCP-4739 may contain milk or a liquid that is similar to it. SCP-5680 seems to be able to feel liquids through containers, thin walls, packages, cartons etc.
