Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4731 is
to be contained in a 5m X 5m X 5m steel cube
consisting of uranium between a layer of steel
on both the inside and the outside of the cell.
Because it enjoys the cold climates of it’s
natural habitat, temperatures inside SCP-4731’s
cell must be kept at under zero (0)˚Celsius in
order to ensure that SCP-4731 will not make
any escape attempts. Two cameras are to be
placed in opposite corners of the cell, with
constant surveillance being mandatory. A
standard containment door gives access to
SCP-4731’s cell, and it is to be illuminated at all
times.
Radiation suits are not required inside the cell because the radiation is dulled by the layers of steel. A level 3 access card is required to enter SCP-4731’s cell, and all testing must be approved by a level 4 staff member or a member of the 0-5 council. SCP-4731 is currently being held at Site-///.
Description: SCP-4731 is a 2.13 meter tall humanoid male. SCP-4731 wears a long cloak that is dull purple in color and covers his entire body. All attempts to remove the cloak have failed because (DATA REDACTED). SCP-4731 is mostly non-verbal, however, it often speaks with D-class personel, striking up a conversation about what the D-class’ life is like.
SCP-4731 is able to sense the nearest forest within a fifty (50) km radius. Once detected, it will attempt to breach security and migrate to the forest. This trait was unknown until after containment, causing an immediate containment breach thirty (30) minutes after initial containment.
Any living organisms who view the face of SCP-4731 under it’s hood will vanish the night after SCP-4731’s this occurs, leaving little to no trace of their existence. In addition, SCP-4731 is able to sense if a human being within a ten (10) km radius wants to harm or kill him. After this, the subject is referred to as 4731-1. SCP-4731 will then pass through any solid matter in order to reach 4731-1, then proceeding to kill it through means of its /. All neutralization ideas for SCP-4731 are not to be discussed at the same site as SCP-4731, as to not trigger a containment breach.
Addendum: SCP-4731 was recovered in /, , /, CO, USA. MTF squad B3 was able to capture SCP-4731 without issue and transport him to Site-/, located in the middle of the / forest. Eight (8) escape attempts were made during the first week of containment. After SCP-4731’s properties were discovered, he was transported to his current site, Site-/, where it is currently held.

(D-8176 is placed inside of SCP-4731’s cell and instructed to stand in the center. SCP-4731 slowly circles D-8176)
D-8176: Hey.
SCP-4731: (continues to circle D-8176)
D-8176: (goes silent)
SCP-4731: Interesting.
D-8176: Oh God. I didn’t know you could talk.
SCP-4731: Yes, I am perfectly capable of speech.
D-8176:(looks at camera) Are you guys hearing this?
D-8176: Are you going to kill me now?
SCP-4731: Oh no, nothing of the sort!
D-8176: But why are you being so nice?
SCP-4731: I don’t like the scientists. They locked me away and study me like I’m a science project. I actually enjoy conferring with you D-class.
D-8176: You do?
SCP-4731: Because you are just like me, locked away and forced to die only for tests. And even if you survive, at the end of the month they kill you anyway. We’re more similar than you might think.
(Scientists begin to radio D-8176 to leave the cell)
SCP-4731: I can help you escape. Maybe I can help all the other D-class escape. You can be free!
(Dr. demands an abort test. D-8176 is forced to leave the chamber, but requests to stay and talk with SCP-4731, as he is “the only one here who treats me human”. That night, A major containment breach occurred. Several SCPs breached containment, among them SCP-4731. Several D-class also escaped. SCP-4731 was recovered /// hours after the breach. D-8176 was never recovered.)
