SCP 5671 king of the sea
SCP 5671 known as king of the sea is a large “catfish” like creature with several barbel like extensions around the mouth. We traditionally see a king of the sea as a great white sharks or giant squids. Well we are wrong. This creature physically looks like a saltwater catfish. Though unlike its relatives stays in packs its whole life. Females grow up 25 feet while males grow to 42.6 feet. These creatures are hyper aggressive attacking anything it feels is invading its territory. This includes boats whales and any other large organisms they find within their packs. When such an organism is detected in territory’s the males investigate it if it is in 25 feet in length they will rip into its flesh or haul. They will continue this until it has been ripped into small shreds. They will than eat it boat or creature leaving nothing left. They breed once every year producing one to two eggs. These eggs are guarded ferociously by the males. They lay there eggs on large rocky surfaces. Once the eggs hatch into baby fry they will take 10 years to grow to an adult and will live another 35 years. There is only one group of this scp left on earth. These entities live in a part of flat sea in the Atlantic Ocean. Be warned the poison on there back is the equivalent of a poison dart frog per fin ray. This creature is only going extinct because of an disease. It makes young non immune 5671s die a few weeks after hatching. This disease is known as 5671-B
Containment procedure
MTF team “SEA HARES” to be placed around the very brink of there territory any boats or ships will be stopped and turned away due to “extreme storms in this area”
Test 1
We sent out a boat 7 feet in length and tasked a D class on taking blood samples he entered the area unharmed he was able to find one dead SCP 5671 fry. he took the 2 foot and gave it to SEA HARE operative code name blue green. We had an autopsy and revealed it had died so to disease. We got several blood samples.
TEST 2
We sent out 5 d class in a 25 foot long boat to find and picture a 5671. No d class survived the test.
TEST 3
A large 5671 appeared next to SEA HARE operatives goby and wrasse. They had been permitted to use a small machine gun they opened fire and killed the creature we collected it body with a helicopter.
