Special Containment Procedures: Entity must be contained within a standard, windowless containment cell. All adjacent rooms and containment cells are to remain lit at all times. The floor must be connected to no fewer than two emergency power sources. Under no circumstances can any light, natural or artificial, be cast into the containment cell.
In the event of a containment breach, the lead security officer on duty has full authority to use SCP-6032-B following proper usage guidelines as outlined by SCP research and development. The use of any available D-Class personal to lure SCP-6032 back into containment is fully authorized and under the acting lead security officer's discretion.
Description: Without the aid of any specialized visual equipment the only feature visible upon first encountering SCP-6032 is a pair of luminescent amber-colored eyes. Vocalizations of the creature, recorded from it's first capture and containment, range from soft purring, to meowing, to pitched growls and hisses.
When viewed through infrared or night-vision filters the creature closely resembles the shape and size of a typical house cat (25 cm x 46 cm). Other physical characteristics have been difficult to record, as the creature does not produce a heat signature, and when viewed through night-vision appears with no features outside of it's outlined shape.
It is not yet known if SCP-6032 emits a "darkness camouflage" to seamlessly blend in with any shadow it inhabits, or if it's body is covered in a fur or covering similar to how vantablack paint absorbs ambient light. Just as puzzling is the creatures method of transportation; being able to instantaneously materialize into any shadow within a 15 m radius.
All instances attempting to use any form of visible light to illuminate the creature have resulted in SCP-6032 becoming increasingly agitated to the point of entering a rage state. While in this state the creature will move with blinding speed to attack any living thing within a 20 m radius. Victims of SCP-6032's attacks are left with deep lacerations across 90% of their bodies resulting in death due to catastrophic hemorrhaging from major arteries.
