Description: SCP-XXXX is the designation for the former Provisional Site 128.
Provisional Site 128, codenamed "R'lyeh" was a research site on aquatic and oceanic anomalous phenomena, as well as being a backup document storage facility in the event of the foundation database being inoperable. Site 128 was situated on the sea floor 100 km below the surface of the Pacific Ocean on the Earth's pole of inaccessibility, Point Nemo.
Site 128 had been constructed from salvaged remains of various spacecraft, as the area has been itself designated as a spacecraft graveyard, allowing the facility to remain camouflaged with little to no effort from outside personnel.
On 00/00/0000, personnel at Site 128 began to report various anomalous phenomena occurring in and around the Site, warranting investigations of the Site. Investigations led by MTF Gamma-6 "Deep Feeders" found no evidence of anomalous activity in or around the facility, warranting the issuing of reprimands to personnel thought to be making false reports.
On 00/00/0000, reports of anomalous phenomena again surfaced from Site 128 personnel
