Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5298 is to be contained within a small concrete room with a diameter of 5 meters and a height of 3.5 meters. Any person interacting with SCP-5298 and/or standing on top of SCP-5298 is strictly prohibited as SCP-5298's anomalous properties affect people who do not have association with the foundation (unless approved first from site administrator).
Description: SCP-5298 represents a children's game of hopscotch, measuring 3 metres long. SCP-5298's anomalous properties are coincidentally similar to that of the children's nursery rhyme/and or superstition "Step on a crack and you break your mother's back" as well as "Step on a line and you break your fathers spine". When a person stands on one of SCP-5298's "lines" (surrounding the perimeter of each box) the biological father of that person will have all of their thoracic vertebrae shattered immediately after their offspring has steeped on one of SCP-5298's "lines". This works the same way of the mother, as if any person were to stand on a crack in the concrete surrounding SCP-5298 their biological mother's thoracic vertebrae will be shattered immediately. SCP-5298's anomalous properties will remain present even if the person's mother or father has deceased.
An closer inspection at the chalk used to create SCP-5298, show no result of anomalous properties and are no different from street chalk brought at an toy store. However the chalk used to create SCP-5298 are to be kept inside Site-64 and away from public view.
Discovery: SCP-5298 was originally created by ████ █████ Female, 8 years of age. ████ █████ created SCP-5298 on the driveway in-front of her house as a means for entertainment. ████ █████ "played" with SCP-5298 for approximately 10 minutes before returning back inside her house. ████ █████ noticed that her biological father was not moving or interacting with her, and as such she decided to contact 911, which was when SCP-5298 was brought to the foundations attention. ████ █████'s biological mother however was still alive and returned back approximately 5 minutes after ████ █████ contacted 911
