Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is contained within a steel locker that can be opened remotely. SCP-XXXX's testing room has no windows, and tests are monitored using cameras, which are installed within the chamber. The entrance a reinforced.
Only D-class subjects are allowed to enter, any other personnel entering the room is regarded as a new D-class subject.
As of incident XXXX-I-02, two armed security turrets are installed on the roof of SCP-XXXX's containment room. All personnel except D-class in Site-██ are required to know about SCP-XXXX's properties.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a polished white diamond of unknown origin that was recovered from ███████-████ Jewelry store in California, USA.
It's anomalous properties occur when two or more human subjects are looking at SCP-XXXX or have it within their peripheral vision. After approximately 3 seconds, all subjects currently looking at SCP-XXXX will have random parts of their memory swap amongst each other, with the rate at which memories are swapped increasing with time since looking at the object. Blinking, or closing eyes for less then 3 seconds do not stop the anomalous property.
Subjects affected by SCP-XXXX report that their memories were not altered, unless they become contradictory to other memories that remained untouched or were also implanted by SCP-XXXX.
After prolonged exposure to SCP-XXXX, subjects will completely change personality and identity, but will often end up with completely conflicting memories that will cause the subject to be at denial of their identity, be in a constant state of confusion and develop suicidal thoughts.
Controlled amnestic usage has been proven to successfully remove all implanted memories, however, original memories that have been swapped out are lost permanently¹

Addendum: Innate reflexes seem to not be affected by SCP-XXXX, but acquired reflexes are prone to being swapped.

Incident XXXX-I-01

Agent █████, agent ████ and agent ███████ had been exposed to SCP-XXXX and it's effect during recovery of the object from the jewelry store. Amnestics where given to the agents under the guise of them seeing confidential information due to SCP-XXXX's effects.

Incident XXXX-I-02

A test with SCP-XXXX and D-5101, who was not aware of the object's properties, started. After approximately two minutes of looking at SCP-XXXX as directed by researcher █████, the subject began approaching the object, ignoring the researcher. D-5101 picked up SCP-XXXX and ran towards the entrance. After being unable to open or break down the door, the subject turned toward a camera and threatened to 'use' SCP-XXXX. Researcher █████ tried to talk the D-class into putting the object back into the locker, but he refused until he expired of dehydration after staying 8 days inside the room²
