Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained inside a Toshiba Libretto U100 laptop with its wireless WIFI chip disengaged from the device to withstand SCP-XXXX connecting to another network and website. The Toshiba Libretto U100 is required to have a protective black-flap covering the device's screen in order to avert the loss of personnel. SCP-XXXX's containment device is stored in a Safe-class Anomalous Locker in Site-██. If a breach occurs, MTF Mu-4 ("Debuggers") is to investigate and intervene.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a computer virus that manifests through procedurally-generated websites accessible through various anonymity networks, often disguising themselves as marketplaces for drugs or human trafficking. Six seconds upon entering an infested website, an image that resembles a pixelated humanoid face, with purple 8-bit eyes and frown. Initially, after the subject has viewed the image, they will experience acute spasms. The infected site would be taken down within 2 minute periods. 17 minutes past exposure, subjects have undergone various physical changes. Symptoms experienced by infected subjects include:
- Changes to eye colour.
- Typically various shades of purple.
- Changes to skin texture and composition.
- Skin turns black and becomes rough.
If the subject survives the mutation, the subject's vital organs will cease to function, and the subject will collapse. When deceased, messages will manifest on the computer or laptop nearest to them. Testing has revealed that these messages are from the now-deceased subject and will continue for a period of up to two hours. Personnel that have been exposed to SCP-XXXX are subject to termination.
