Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 is to remain in SCP-XXXX-2 and then be placed in a 6.09 x 6.09 m room, lined with ice, and temperature no greater than 0° Celcius. Two guards are to be outside the containment room at all times. Personnel with clearance level 3 are required to have written permission from level 4 to enter the room for testing.

In the event that SCP-XXXX-1 falls out of or is removed from, without permission, a D-class is to be sent in with heavy winter gear to put SCP-XXXX-1 back in SCP-XXXX-2. If the D-class refuses to put SCP-XXXX-1 back in SCP-XXXX-2 they are to be terminated immediately and a more compliant D-class is to be sent to contain SCP-XXXX-1.

Description: SCP-XXXX consists of two entities, designated SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-1.

SCP-XXXX-1 is a steel sword where the blade length is 0.76 m, the handle is 0.08 m in length and the handguard is 0.07 m. SCP-XXXX-2 is a black leather sheath of 0.8 m in length.

SCP-XXXX-1's anomalous properties do not exhibit themself until SCP-XXXX-1 is removed from
SCP-XXXX-1. Once removed the blade of SCP-XXXX-1 will freeze everything that it touches at speeds of 1.79 m/s. If SCP-XXXX-1 is held by the handle the holder will gain heightened sensory skills and perceive time 50% slower than everyone else. If held for more than thirty seconds the holder will begin to slowly turn to solid ice starting from the hand holding SCP-XXXX-1. This process takes approximately 30 minutes.
