Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: - Neutralized (see Addendum D1)

Description: SCP-XXXX was a French Legionnaire by the name of Jean Le Sueur, specializing in unconventional warfare during the French Indochina war to quell the Vietnamese rebellion in French Indochina. SCP-XXXX stands at 1.8 meters tall. While not showing any signs of anomalous capability under Foundation custody, SCP-XXXX has been confirmed to have anomalous abilities to a degree, as stated by seized French records and examination of the recovery site. See the latter document "Test Log C-3" for more details.1

Discovery: SCP-XXXXs existence became known to the foundation when the Cambodian government reported that men and women under their jurisdiction, along with reports of missing soldiers from the French government, began disappearing along the Cambodian-Indochina border. SCP-XXXX, before hiding in the jungle, was under French custody under a new government weapons project known as the "Tafra Project". It is assumed the French government contacted the Foundation so that they wouldn't have to extend their own resources in recovering SCP-XXXX, evident by the fact that France knew of the general area where SCP-XXXX was located, and the fact that it was discovered that the French government contributed resources in a raid committed by the Chaos Insurgency on Foundation facilities, in an attempt to recover SCP-XXXX. See latter document labeled "Incident 6-C" for more details.

SCP-XXXX was recovered by Foundation personnel on October 1, 1953, in the Long An province of Vietnam, inside of an ancient Khmer temple complex. MTF-Omega Orange was deployed in the region to gain whereabouts of SCP-XXXX, prompting its capture and the containment of the capture site. See latter documents labeled "Recovery Transcript" and "Interview-A1 Transcript" for more details.

It has come to my attention that this facility is in possession of a variety of scattered and incomplete SCP files, and I've made it my responsibility, along with a few other heads and directors, to try to put together and properly store these files. The original audio/video media relating to SCP-XXXX has been destroyed. Whoever thought storing all the tapes and files in a different sector should have been brought down to a D-Class. Too late to do anything now. Most of the original files and assets were in the vicinity of the Insurgency security breach back in '54. The only records we have of this SCP are this file and some older written transcripts. I'm giving you the responsibility of piecing everything together and giving it a proper position in the SCP database. ~Director Stephenson, Area-12.
