Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept under regular watch and surveillance at it's initial discovery site. At least two (2) Foundation Personnel must be guarding the entrance to SCP-XXXX at all times, and four (4) more around the three (3) meter perimeter that surrounds SCP-XXXX.

In the event that civilian contact is made or in the event of a breach into SCP-XXXX, the civilians are to be taken into Foundation custody and questioned before being given Class B amnestics. Any civilian that has entered SCP-XXXX must have their remains or incapacitated body must be returned to the Foundation for study and autopsy.

NOTE: Under no circumstances are civilians to be rescued from SCP-XXXX. We've now lost three (3) assigned personnel to foolishness and disregard for orders. The cause for the sudden emotional outbursts around SCP-XXXX are currently being investigated. Assigned personnel must now be in an 100 yard radius of SCP-XXXX until testing has proved conclusive. See Incident Report 1a-Min for a more in depth explanation - Dr. Clark

Description: SCP-XXXX is a 3.74 x 3.9m structure made out of concrete with traces of sandstone and other sediments. Upon outside observation, it appears to be entirely unremarkable and plain with no signs of any inhabitants having lived there for about 30 years prior.

The two (2) windows, each respectively placed on the west and east sides of the structure, are completely blacked out with what appears to be a papyrus-like sheet. The front door - facing the north end of SCP-XXXX - varies depending on who is looking at it. The most common affirmation of the door is a 'nicely textured but beaten mahogany door' with 'bullet holes' appearing in the top left hand corner. The structure completely lacks any paint on the surrounding walls or tiling on the roof, and as a result, SCP-XXXX appears to have an unstable and crumbling structure.

SCP-XXXX was first discovered by a group of hikers in Grahamdale, Manitoba in 8/9/2006. The Foundation was alerted to it's anomalous qualities when one of the hikers decided to venture inside SCP-XXXX and never came out, prompting one of his fellow hikers to call the police. A Foundation operative stationed inside the Manitoba Police Force was on the two (2) man police excursion to SCP-XXXX reported his findings to the Foundation. Since then, The Foundation has seized control of the surrounding area under the guise of a countryside conservation project. To date, four (4) civilians have been lost to SCP-XXXX and two (2) have fallen into a vegetative state.

Three (3) exploration attempts have been made into SCP-XXXX. All have resulted in the deaths of the subjects involved. The following transcripts are Exploration Logs 1 and 2 and Test Log 1. It is unknown what happened to Exploration Log 3, but it is assumed to be lost within SCP-XXXX itself.

The layout of the house is rather unpredictable, due to the subject's house description being rather different, but a layout had been mapped of the house during it's 'Normal' state. The abandoned place of residence enters it's 'Normal' state when the subject in question does not have a present mother figure in their lives, and thus takes on the form of a typical Canadian house, designed in the style of the 1980's.

Subject Note: The names of all those involved in these explorations have been expunged, apart from the multiple D-Class subjects, to prevent any misinformation spread by the unstable Lt. Jackson - Dr. Clark
