Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be secured in a 3x6x5ft locker, secured with a multi-digit lock. The locker is to be stored in a 10x5x10ft room, consisting of a 5 person couch, and TV dating to 1958 exactly. SCP-XXXX is to only be used during Level-5 authorized testing. All testing on SCP-XXXX must be done with extreme caution.
Two armed guards are to be stationed outside of the SCP-XXXX containment zone at all times. No personnel is to enter the containment zone unless it is a supervised janitorial team or an SCP-XXXX test.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a cassette tape measuring 46µm in width, 92µm in height, and 127µm in length. SCP-XXXX is constructed of plastic and a tape with a magnetic coating. The cassette tape is branded under the name of ███████, with the date of 1958 below the branding. All methods of attempting to track down the factory of which produced SCP-XXXX have been unsuccessful.
SCP-XXXX has been proven to be un-rewindable, and will continue playing on the same loop until the cassette tape is deactivated. It is currently unknown how the cassette tape continues to play without running out of film. Any attempts to open SCP-XXXX has resulted in failure.
SCP-XXXX is activated when a person(s) puts it in the 1958 model TV. Attempting to put it in another TV dated any year besides 1958 has resulted in failure. SCP-XXXX once activates begins its infinite loop. SCP-XXXX's tape consists of a static screen, with a high hissing and beeping noise.
Anyone who sees SCP-XXXX's static or hears the high hissing and beeping noise are immediately attracted to seating on the couch, and watching the screen. While watching the screen, the person(s) affected are SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 are stuck watching the screen until SCP-XXXX is deactivated, or they are killed from lack of water or food. SCP-XXXX-1 are very generous in offering you to watch it with them. Refusing to watch it with an SCP-XXXX will result in extreme hostility in SCP-XXXX-1. In which case, SCP-XXXX-1 is to be terminated. SCP-XXXX-1 have been proven to be able to terminate themselves in a fighting scenario. When SCP-XXXX-1 is in a hostile situation, they must continue to watch the TV. SCP-XXXX-1 have snapped their own necks in an attempt to continue to watch the TV. Amnestics only work on SCP-XXXX-1 if noise cancelling headphones are used, and Class-B amnestics are used.
