Item #: SCP-[Unassigned]
Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Both SCP-████-1 and SCP-████-2 are to be housed in standard humanoid SCP containment cell. put under minimal containment measures within apartment building in the residential area nearest to site-██. The apartment building is to be equipped with automatic locks and shutters that activates if SCP-████-2's heartbeat indicates that the subject has entered REM sleep. SCP-████-2 is to be given a keycode to deactivate these measures at will. Any failings in the locking mechanism should be immediately addressed by technical staff. Both SCP-████-1 and SCP-████-2 are to be given standard jobs at the residential area to simulate a standard living environment.

SCP-████-1 and SCP-████-2 should not be seperated without their mutual consent. Site-██ may under no circumstance house SCP's that require Scranton Reality Anchors to contain. Actions that can be considered anxiety inducing should be avoided around SCP-████-2, including arresting the subject, showing him individuals he can identify as being D-Class personel or continually exposing him to the sight of firearms.

Any attempts to interview SCP-████-1 or SCP-████-2 should be done at the apartment, without bringing any weaponry and without any unnecessary personnel.

In the event of a significant containment breach that may affect the residential area, moving SCP-████-1 and SCP-████-2 to a safe area should be considered priority.

SCP-████-2 should receive psychological counseling once every week to check for any signs of anxiety.

Description: SCP-████-1 appears as a young woman in her mid twenties with brown hair, average build and blue eyes. Identifies by the name ████████, and makes no mention of a family name even when pressed on the issue. SCP-████-1 appears to be capable of altering her appearance in order to reflect the contemporary nature of her bond with SCP-████-2. When found, SCP-[Unassigned]-1 appeared as an older more maternal figure to SCP-████-2, who was ██ years old at the time. SCP-████-1 has not been observed to sleep, however, in response to SCP-████-2 entering REM sleep, SCP-████-1's appearance will change drastically. Though it will retain a humanoid silhouette, infrared sensors indicate that the entity that SCP-████-1 turns into has a perpetually shifting surface. Due to this form posing a severe cognitohazard (See experiment log ████-1-02 and 1-03), it should never be observed directly or through a video-feed. Currently it is unknown whether this is the standard response to the REM sleep brain waves of SCP-████-2, or the natural state of SCP-████-1 . She will try to continue behaving as normal, even wandering out of the building if it is not locked. Showing SCP-████-2 footage of this form seems to elicit no reaction, concluding that SCP-████-2 either refused to acknowledge it or that the bond between SCP-████-1 and 2 make him see SCP-████-1 in her human state even if observed in her altered state.

SCP-████-2 is a Caucasian male, aged ██, by the name of [DATA REDACTED]. The exact method SCP-████-1 has created her bond with SCP-████-2 is yet unknown and both SCP-████-1 and SCP-████-2 report to have no recollection of the moment they met. SCP-████-2 has an emotional and neurological link with SCP-████-1 that makes him aware of her emotional state, location and desires, and shows no distress about this information in spite of him being aware of the anomalous nature of their bond. Medical exams show that SCP-████-2 shows no deviations from standard human biology. Subjecting SCP-████-2 to prolonged or severe anxiety may result in the creation of SCP-████-A instance.

SCP-████-A is an anomalous event generated by SCP-████-1 if subjected to the influence of a Scranton Reality Anchor or prolonged anxiety of SCP-████-2. It is also theorized that this event will occur if SCP-████-2 dies (See Addendum ████-03). SCP-████-A is a reality-bending instance of variable size. Within SCP-████-A, all matter is reported to "ripple", constantly shifting and moving, and all higher-functioning organisms caught within its effect will attain reality bending abilities that can only affect the organism itself, as well as leading to an increase in anxiety. Whether this is caused by the visual aberration within SCP-████-A or intrinsic to its effect is unknown. The reality bending effect of SCP-████-A will cause everything someone affected by SCP-████-A thinks is happening to them, to actually happen to them. The most common result of this effect is that individuals subjected to SCP-████-A will think the rippling effect within SCP-████-A to be much stronger than it is. This will cause this thought to come true, resulting in the body of the subject being warped permanently. After this, the subject will often enter a state of panic, which will cause the effect to be exacerbated even further. Any matter warped out of place generally retains full functionality unless this is geometrically impossible. There have been 4 known instances of SCP-████-A, hereafter revered to as SCP-████-A-0 through 3 (see addendum ████-02).

Addendum ████-01: Leaflet containing advise for site-██ in case of an instance of SCP-████-A.

> If at any moment, all matter around you begins to ripple and shift, proceed according to these guidelines:

1. Take the anti-anxiety medication supplied to all staff.
2. Proceed to the edge of the anomaly.
3. Avoid making comments on how your fellow staff look.
4. Avoid looking at mirrors or reflective surfaces at all costs.
5. Should anti-anxiety medication fail, keep your eyes closed and focus strongly on what place you'd rather be.
6. keep all your bodyparts out of your own field of vision while under the effect of SCP-[Unassigned]-A. Do not look at your hands when opening doors or searching your own pockets. Do not focus your vision at the tip of your nose.

Follow these steps, and SCP-████-A should be nothing other than a learning experience!

Addendum ████-02: The following is a series reports of SCP-████-A-1 through SCP-████-A-3.

Incident SCP-[Unassigned]-A-1:

Incident date: ██-██-████
Incident location: ██████,Wyoming
Incident SCP-[Unassigned]-A-1 was caused by a failed capture of SCP-[Unassigned]-1 and SCP-[Unassigned]-2 following a series insanity outbursts and a chain collision on the ███ highway. According to testimony of SCP-████-2, the incident was caused by him falling asleep while SCP-████-1 was driving his car (for clarification, SCP-[Unassigned]-1 was still acting as the "mother" to SCP-████-2, who was orphaned in █████). The resulting appearance shift caused both severe mental damage to nearby drivers resulting in a chain collision in which █ people died and ██ got injured. Any attempts to investigate the issue through the traffic camera resulted in the viewer entering a state of heightened panic. Any attempts to recall the memory of perceiving SCP-████-1 will renew this effect A Mobile Task Force was dressed in SWAT uniforms as cover to arrest and secure SCP-████-1 and SCP-████-2. The stress caused by the door being knocked down and being kept at gunpoint resulted in the creation of SCP-████-A-1. Due to the distance from SCP-████-1 and 2's residence from the village of ██████████, only ██ individuals were affected by SCP-████-A-1, including members of the MTF. Distressed by the event, SCP-████-2 turned himself over to Foundation custody.

After retrieval, SCP-████-1 and SCP-████-2 were put in adjacent standard humanoid containment cells at site-█, until SCP-████-A-2 forced them to be relocated to site-██.

Incident date: ██-██-████
Incident location: SCP Foundation site-█
Incident SCP-████-A-2 happened 5 days after the initial containment of SCP-████-1 and 2. Upon containment, SCP-████-1 reported severe headaches and panic. SCP-████-2 repeatedly pleaded to staff to "Turn those devices off", unable to specify what device was causing her distress. The device in question turned out to be a Scranton Reality Anchor, used to contain SCP-███ 250 meters away from the containment cell of SCP-████-1, which should be outside of the effective range of the SRA. The SCP-████-A-2 event that followed destroyed the SRA completely, leading to a containment breach of SCP-████, as well as SCP-████ and SCP-████ being neutralized by the effects of SCP-████-A-2. SCP-████-A-2 resulted in ██ deaths and a total of ███ casualties who had suffered some form of bodily alteration from the anomaly. This comprises 86% of the staff, 98% of D-class personnel as well as ██% of humanoid SCPs stored at site-█. Out of the affected staff, ██% committed suicide shortly after. SCP-████-1 and 2 were found 150 meters from of site-█. Proximity sensors seem to indicate they spontaneously appeared at that location.

For further information on SCP-████-A-2 casualties, see addendum-04.

After Incident SCP-████-A-2, SCP-████-1 and 2 were moved to site-██, the closest site without an Scranton Reality Anchor present. Containment was successful for 6 months. based on the information gathered from survivors of SCP-████-A-2, a safety protocol was composed in case of a new SCP-████-A instance (See addendum [Unassigned]-01).

Incident date: ██-██-████
Incident location: SCP Foundation site-██
Incident SCP-████-A-3 happened 194 days into containment on site-██. The event was presumably caused by the revelation of SCP-████-2 that D-Class personnel were used for medical experience, leading to a feeling of anxiety and distress whenever SCP-[Unassigned]-2 observed any D-Class personnel, eventually resulting in in SCP-[Unassigned]-A-3. Thanks to improved safety protocols, no SCPs kept at site-██ were lost and only 28% of the staff present were affected, with no essential staff amongst the casualties. Dr. ████ was retrieved in ████████, Florida after motion sickness caused him to vomit up his anti-anxiety medication, and Dr. ████ went into a panic attack and started "Imaging he was at at a tropical beach" as a coping mechanism. SCP-████-A-3 reacted to these thoughts by transporting him to Dr. ████ to Florida. SCP-████-1 and 2 were found outside of site-██, with SCP-████-2 being visibly distraught and being comforted by SCP-████-1.

After this incident, SCP-████-1 and 2 were moved towards the nearest residential area to eliminate the risk of observing D-Class personnel. This containment protocol has resulted in 3 years and █ months without new instances of SCP-████-A.

Addendum ████-03:

After review by Dr. ████ and ████, and confirmation of O5-█, the anomaly previously designated SCP-███ has been given the designation SCP-████-A-0, with SCP-███ being presumed to be the previous SCP-████-2. In the village of [DATA EXPUNGED], a spatial anomaly identical to SCP-████-A is its effect was caused as the consequence of a grocery store robbery where in a 47 year old man, name ████████ ██████, was shot and killed, leaving him as the sole unaltered human organism in the anomaly. It is unknown whether the event was caused by the death of SCP-████-2 or the anxiety caused by the robbery. Dissection of SCP-████-2's corpse showed an anomalous material on the surface of the brain.

Addendum ████-04:

The following is a shortened medical report presented to the Ethics Committee for the development of new safety guidelines in the event of a new SCP-████-A instance.

Summary of casualties caused by SCP-████-A-1.

█ staff members and ██ D-Class personnel, death from heart failure after the heart burrowed its way out of the chest cavity by bending away the ribcage. Rib cage show no damage of damage caused by tension or bending. Final audio recording of Dr. ██████ indicates that this damage was caused by people who experienced the sensation of feeling their own heartbeat in their chest as a result of panic.

█ Staff members and █ D-Class personnel, death from the cranial cavity melting. Security footage of the D-87024 indicated that the subject retained the ability to stand straight until approximately 78% of cranial matter was presumably melted away. All security footage shows subjects to show signs of severe headaches.

█ Staff members, all of the security team, death from self-inflicted gunshot wound, all showing strong signs of warping on the legs and right arm. The on-site security captain attempted suicide, but the wound "repaired itself" after the captain said "[expletive], [Expletive], please I don't want to die".

Dr. ████ asphyxiated due to his trachea warping and restricting airflow too much for enough oxygen to come through. Warping effect was caused by viewing a mirror.

██ Staff members and ██ D-Class personnel experienced minor warping of extremities (here defined as: minimal curving of the bones, skin permanently attaining a "bumpy" look, fingers and toes melting together, finger joints having their angle altered, length of fingers being altered etc). 79% of cases are deemed treatable through extensive surgery.

██ Staff members and ███ D-Class personnel severe warping of extremities (Here defined as: Bones bending substantially, or even bending into a spiral pattern. Sections of the limbs elongating substantially. Fingers getting melded through each-other and moving out of their natural configuration. Limbs getting severely malformed and bloated)

Security officer ██████ and D-37679 were found warped into a wall. All organs remained functional when the anomaly subsided, however, neither subject was capable of being removed due to their skin being fused with the wall on a molecular level. D-37679 was found with his knee and both arms in the wall, while ██████ was found with his left arm and majority of his torso and hips sunk into the wall. The arm remained free even while immobilized from the shoulder. After X-Ray tests, D-37679 was terminated and ██████ was sustained for as 11 days, when he died due to septic shock caused by fecal matter piling up in his intestines and causing it to rupture.

██ Staff members and █ D-Class personnel underwent "Mirror warping". Due to the reflection of the mirror reflecting not only a warped image, but being in itself a warped surface, it will quickly cause the face and torso of the subject to warp, generally until shock sets in causing the subject to fall to the floor and enter a catatonic state. Despite all subjects showing severe displacement of cranial matter, they are all still at full mental capacity after amnestics were applied to filter out the trauma. Eyes remained functional even when the warping of the spherical geometry resulted in it being immobile, or in the case of the left eye of D-41387, only being capable of rotating on a single axis. Per orders of the Ethics Comittee, all subjects were euthanized after medical evaluation was done.

Addendum ████-05: Alternative authorization protocols are in effect. All experiments on SCP-████ must be signed by at least 2 members of the 05 council.

Addendum ████-06: Identifying information of SCP-████-2 has been redacted following an unauthorized attempt by [DATA EXPUNGED] to track down the residence of SCP-████ and [DATA EXPUNGED]
