Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3948 is currently stored in Foundation complex ██████ in ████████ mountain range. SCP-3948 is to be held in a waterproof container of at least 1x1 meter size. The container is then to be filled with foam in order to prevent damage to the container and SCP-3948 when moving it. D-class personnel is strictly prohibited from interacting with SCP-3948 or from opening the container in which SCP-3948 is stored under a threat of immidiate termination.
Personnel is allowed to interact with SCP-3948-A and SCP-3948-Bs however due to incidents D-████, DTT-████, KA-████, it is strictly forbidden to bring alcohol for the entities and/or to consume anything the entities might offer.
All personnel is advised to act in a passive manner towards SCP-3948 entities.
Description: SCP-3948 is 310x170 mm Cold war era Soviet military radio, identified as R-███ type radio. The artifact doesn’t appear to be different from other pieces of equipment of the same type, except for several bruises on one particulary large hole in the back side of it which is assumed to have been caused by a shrapnel. No power source is required for SCP-3948 to function and it seems to be working at any time. What powers SCP-3948 is yet to be discovered.
Any attemps to dismantle SCP-3948 were futile as it seems to be indestructible by conventional means. Request to use SCP-███ in an attemp to dismantle SCP-3948 was rejected.
SCP-3948 was found in an old warehouse in harbour area of ██████ city in Russian Federation after a gunfight between local mafia mobsters and unknown group, pressumably SCP-3948-A and SCP-3948-Bs. No witnesses to confirm this theory were found however.
Upon using SCP-3948 as intended, ie. picking up the telephone handset three dialing up noises can be heard, all of which last approximately two seconds. Then a man with thick eastern european accent introduces himself as "The Kapitan" (SCP-3948-A) and proceeds to offer services of "The Kommando".
Note: Althought SCP-3948-01 always innitiates conversations in English, it has also demonstrated the ability to converse in Russian, Polish, Czech and Spanish to certain extent.

SCP-3948-A: Are you in need of Kommando?
D-████: What?
SCP-3948-01: Are local thugs threating you? Are there wild animals around your house? Or maybe kids in your neighborhood are too loud. Worry not, my friend, Kommando can help. Just say the word and we come. Anywhere, anytime, my friend.

D-███: Uh, do you like need my location or-
SCP-3948-A: Is ok, we come, no worry

Approximately fifteen to twenty minutes after accepting the offer SCP-3948-A and multiple SCP-3948-Bs arrive. Exact numbers of SCP-3948-Bs vary depending on in how large space was SCP-3948 used, however maximum number so far has been 98.
SCP-3948 entities are all humanoids of caucasian race, pressumably of European descent.
SCp-3948-A wears what appears to be old Soviet paratroopers uniform, SCP-3948-Bs are always seen wearing various types of cold war Soviet block military uniforms, often mismatched.
Note:Most of the uniforms seems to be from the 1970’s and 1980’s era, however as Dr.███ pointed out, there are variants from 1950’s as well.
As to equipment, SCP entities seem to posses wide variety of weaponry, most commonly assault rifles (AK-47, AK-74, Sa vz. 58), carbines (SKS), sniper rifles (SVD, Mosin Nagat), shotguns (unidentified double barrel shotgun, KS-23), pistols (Makarov, Tokarev, other types are unknown), Anti-tank grenade launchers (RPG-7), light machine guns (RPK-74, RPK) and flamethrowers. How much ammunition do SCP entities carry or whether they can run out is unknown to the Foundation.
SCP-3948-Bs also seem use several different types of cold war era Soviet block equipment, including but not limited to tanks (namely T-72 and on one instance T-62), armoured personnel carriers or APCs (BTR-60, BTR-70), trucks (ZIL-157), jeeps (UAZ-469), bikes and on one instance rollerblades (however it is suspected that these belonged to Dr. █████ and SCP-3948-Bs stole them but Dr. █████ denies this).
Where do SCP-3948-A and SCP-3948-Bs come from is yet unknown and is very difficult to explain, for further information see experiment log below

note: Peculiar as it might be, CCTV cameras always malfunction at the exact time SCP-3948 entities enter the scene. Further investigation on how they achieve this is required
Upon arriving, SCP-3948-A (or the Kapitan) attemps to locate and contact whoever used SCP-3948 paying little attention to other people unless they posses a direct threat. When succesfull, the entity will proceed to declare that „The Kommando is here, what do we do for you“ and expects commands.
To determine what the SCP-3948 entities will and will not do a series of experiments has been conducted. For results, see experiment log below.

Addendum #1: It is unclear where do SCP-3948 entities go where they decide that their objective has been completed or how they leave the area for that matter. All personnel that would otherwise remember SCP-3948 entities leave suffers from short term memory loss which can range from 15 minutes to an hour and records from CCTV cameras are always corrupted. Further investigation is required.

SCP-3948-A: From here and there, you see? From everywhere.

SCP-3948-A: A name? Yes… Yes I had one, we all did, a long time ago but no more. No more names. We are the Kommando now. And I am the Kapitan. Nothing more.
Dr. ██████: Are you… are you dead?SCP-3948-A: Dead? Yes, we die. We die a lot but no worry, friend, we always come back. Again and again. Is okey.
Dr. ██████: Why are you doing, well, whatever you are doing?
