Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be held in a standard secure containment locker at Site-19 when not in use. Each Sunday during the hours of 11:00 and 13:00 SCP-XXXX is to be removed from its locker for an XXXX-Eshu type A event. An XXXX-Eshu type A event consists of the destruction of roughly 2kg of ritualistic foods placed near SCP-XXXX, generally by means of incineration. Using corn or bean paste is encouraged, but other foods usable in the ritual include: rice, banana, plantain, peeled citrus fruits, ox, rodent, snake, male goat, rooster, dog, or wild game. Use of liquids instead of solid offerings is generally discouraged, but in the absence of suitable solids 5kg of any alcoholic or caffeinated beverage safely consumable by humans can be used. It is highly discouraged to perform a type A ritual using only liquid for multiple events in a row.

A standard foundation waste incinerator is NOT authorized for this event, and its use will result in disciplinary action regardless of whether an XXXX-Eshu type C event is triggered. Equipment known to have successfully been utilized for a type A event includes: kindling ignited by a lighter or match, soaking the offering in flammable oil and igniting with a lighter or match, a kiln, an industrial oven, a forge, a standard foundation combat incinerator, a sledgehammer, napalm, explosive/incendiary small arms rounds, and a roller-compactor.

Following incident XXXX-DANTOR no personnel that has ever engaged in non SCP-XXXX related spiritual rituals¹ is permitted to participate in an XXXX-Eshu event. Twenty four hours prior to an equinox SCP-XXXX is to be removed from its locker in preparation for an XXXX-Eshu type B event.
