Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 20 by 20 centimeter box. Testing requires level 3 clearance permission or higher due to the large area affected by SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a bronze mechanical sundial from the year 1725. When SCP-XXXX is used pointing true north, no anomalous properties manifest. However, when SCP-XXXX is pointed any other direction than true north, the time on every clock, or any other device that tells time in a 10 mile radius (including other sun dials) are adjusted to the time shown on SCP-XXXX until it is returned to normal or exits the sunlight. SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties were also observed on timepieces that do not function under normal circumstances. In addition to these properties, when video is recorded near the sundial it perceives the sun changing position as well, but this change appears to be only perceptible through a camera. The anomalous properties do not manifest under any light other than sunlight, yet testing should be limited to avoid corrupting the data of other experiments on the site.
Addendum: Object was retrieved from ████ on the date of ███████ after several hundred local citizens reporting experiencing the effects of SCP-XXXX on social media websites attracted the attention of the foundation. All mentions of SCP-XXXX's effects on the internet were subsequently erased, and the citizens affected by SCP-XXXX had the last 24 hours of their memory wiped.
