Special Containment Procedures:

SCP-XXXX-1

The current site location of SCP-XXXX-1 is restricted to those with Level 4 security clearance.

SCP-XXXX-1 is to be held suspended within a water filled container, made out of reinforced, ten centimeter thick, armored glass for ease of observation. The container is to be stored within a triple airlocked storage room, made out of a hardened titanium alloy. The storage room must be located at least 200 kilometers beneath sea level and must be placed beneath a mountain peak.

The only means of access to SCP-XXXX-1’s containment unit must be a single two man wide corridor that is one(1)kilometer long. Both ends of the corridor are to have an airlocked, magnetically locked hardened titanium doors and no less than three guards posted on either side at all times.

Every corner of the interior of SCP-XXXX-1’s containment unit and the length of the corridor are to be lined with automated defense turrets armed with small arms, incendiary and sedative variants. Both the containment unit and the corridor must be surrounded by an energy dissipating field.

In the case of a containment breach, both the containment unit and the corridor are to be flooded with class A sedatives.

While contained, SCP-XXXX-1 is to have all four limbs amputated at the base of the shoulders and the hips, as well as to have its neck and torso clasped with chains, anchored in opposite directions. Appropriate tubing for providing oxygen, sedatives, food and extracting bodily waste is to be applied to SCP-XXXX-1, along with 24/7 active life signs observation devices and personnel.

Under no circumstance should SCP-XXXX-1 by killed or allowed to die! Top priority must always be to ensure that SCP-XXXX-1's life signs remain active at all times, no matter how diminished!

SCP-XXXX-2

The current site location of SCP-XXXX-2 is restricted to those with Level 4 security clearance.

SCP-XXXX-2 is to be welded shut within a 140x30x30 centimeter case of hardened titanium and stored within a magnetically locked titanium safe at the Dangerous Artefacts wing of its respective containment Site.

Under no circumstance should anyone hold SCP-XXXX-2 by its handle! SCP-XXXX1 and SCP-XXXX-2 must be prevented from coming into contact with one another at all times.

Should the two come into contact, their surrounding area is to be flooded with class A sedatives, or for class A sedatives to be administered to SCP-XXXX-1 via injection or syringe darts in fifty(50) times the dose required for a standard human. Once SCP-XXXX-1 has been incapacitated, both it and SCP-XXXX-2 are to be collected, removed from one another and returned to containment at their respective Sites.

If SCP-XXXX-2 has initiated a Restoration event, all activity around it and SCP-XXXX-1 is to be ceased, with the exception of pumping the class A sedatives into the space that the two are occupying at the time.

Description:

SCP-XXXX-1

SCP-XXXX-1 appears as an adult human male of average build in his late twenties with long red hair and goatee. The most notable visual trait of SCP-XXXX-1 is that its irises and retinas are completely white, but still present. Throughout the years of observation SCP-XXXX-1 has never aged, leading Foundation researchers to presume that it is incapable of dying from old age and to speculate on what its actual age is.

While in its normal form, SCP-XXXX-1 exhibits vastly increased physical properties in comparison to normal humans, being capable of tearing through solid steel, running a distance of 100 meters within five seconds, as well as both reacting to and dodging shots from ten separate M16 rifles firing on full auto, all from different angles and distances.

In addition to it, SCP-XXXX-1 also exhibits two other forms of anomalous properties. The first being that it is capable of putting its body, anything placed upon it and anything in its grasp into an intangible state, being capable of moving through solid objects, resulting in all physical and some energy types of projectiles to simply just pass through its body without causing any negative effects.

During the second, SCP-XXXX-1’s body doubles in size and musculature, taking on some canine features, suggestive of some form of lycanthropy, causing its irises to turn bright yellow and the retinas black. While in this form, SCP-XXXX-1’s already impressive physical abilities are further increased by a yet not estimated amount and it exhibits accelerated regeneration. SCP-XXXX-1 can maintain both the intangible and the lycanthropic properties for up to 3 hours each, while also being able to interchange between either.

Separate from any transformations, SCP-XXXX-1 appears to be completely immune to any form of congnitohazard and mental manipulation, regardless of their potency or intensity. Due to this the application of amnestics of any sort to SCP-XXXX-1 has been deemed a waste of stock, as none have any effect upon it.

SCP-XXXX-2

SCP-XXXX-2 appears as a longsword made in an early middle ages European style of structure, coming to a total length of 130 centimeters in total. It consists of a 110 centimeter long blade, which has slight curves down its length, made out of an orange crystal of unknown composition, origin or type, with a silver guard in the shape of a wolf with its jaws open, from which the blade erects, and pommel, with a black leather strap covering the handle.

Additionally, three red gems, also of unknown composition, origin or type, are present, with two serving as the wolf head’s eyes and the third and largest one being embedded in the pommel.

SCP-XXXX-2 exhibits a number of anomalous properties, which differ depending on whether or not it is used by SCP-XXXX-1 or not.

The one constant, regardless of whether in use by SCP-XXXX-1 or not, being that it is completely indestructible, as far as Foundation testing and observation has determined, including being exposed to the power of reality benders, which appears to “die” shortly after coming in contact with SCP-XXXX-2, per the description of those trying to destroy it or remove it from existence.

When used by SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2 appears to be capable of terminating anything it is used again, regardless if it is an entity, an object or a location. SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 are yet to be observed interacting with an anomalous event, however, it is speculated that when working together they would be able to terminate the event.

Once a termination has been accomplished, any wounds, injuries or negative effects sustained by SCP-XXXX-1 are immediately regenerated or recovered.

SCP-XXXX-2’s arguably most anomalous properties are exhibited when not in use by SCP-XXXX-1.

Should SCP-XXXX-1 suffer a fatal injury, or be terminated in any manner, up to and including being erased from existence, SCP-XXXX-2 will initiate a Restoration event, where it will begin to levitate and seek to immediately impale the closest human, regardless of sex or age, that it can reach.

Once the individual is impaled, SCP-XXXX-2 will instantly terminate them and drain all of the blood from their body, turning its blade red. Afterwards, regardless of the distance, SCP-XXXX-2 will accelerate towards the location of where SCP-XXXX-1 had been terminated, cutting its way through any obstacle it encounters in its path.

Upon arrival SCP-XXXX-2 will impale the corpse, or any remains, of SCP-XXXX-1, causing its blade to return to its normal orange color as the red is injected into the remains, immediately restoring SCP-XXXX-1’s body, including the last form of clothing SCP-XXXX-1 wore prior to its termination, to perfect function, including restoring SCP-XXXX-1’s transformation capabilities to the point where they can be used for their full duration once again.

If there are no remains left of SCP-XXXX-1, when SCP-XXXX-2 arrives at the location of SCP-XXXX-1’s termination, it will expel a stream of red liquid, presumed to be the blood of the human it first impaled, from which SCP-XXXX-1 is reformed as described above and returning to its normal orange color.

If anyone or anything attempts to interrupt the Restoration event, SCP-XXXX-2 will pause the process and terminate, or disable, the intruder on its own, then return to completing the restoration.

SCP-XXXX-2 Handling Supplement

Should anyone, other than SCP-XXXX-1, hold SCP-XXXX2 by its handle, regardless of the distance, SCP-XXXX-1 will immediately become consciously active, any negative effects being removed from it and any damage or wounds it has sustained regenerating near instantly as it enters something similar to a berserk state, during which its transformation powers are extended indefinitely, until SCP-XXXX-1 reacquires SCP-XXXX-2, as it will immediately rush towards SCP-XXXX-2’s location.

The Foundation holds a particular interest in containing SCP-XXXX, as when not under custody, the two actively seek out other SCPs and anomalies in order to terminate them, seemingly intent on exterminating the anomalous.

Normally, SCP-XXXX exhibit no hostility towards humans, in fact they are actively trying to protect them, only seeking to terminate anomalies, however, overtime SCP-XXXX has developed an increased hostility towards Foundation personnel and members of other organizations dealing with the anomalous, regardless of the fact that they are human.

Event Log XXXX-1/2-H:
Foreword: A catalog of reports of the most notable events and encounters with SCP-XXXX, providing insight into their abilities and status, most notable terminations and any important details to the encounter.

Event designation: First confirmed encounter with SCP-XXXX
Results: Undocumented SCP - Terminated by SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2; Missing Persons - Discovered; SCP-XXXX Not Contained.
Report of event:

While investigating a lone cabin in the woods for a number of hikers that had vanished in the western side of the ████ ridge - Bulgaria, the team of field agents assigned to the task reported that SCP-XXXX-1 walked through the cabin’s back wall and made the following statement: “Do not fear.”

After which, SCP-XXXX-1 walked into the middle of the cabin and impaled the floor with SCP-XXXX-2. The field agents reported hearing a loud screech as the cabin momentarily shook, before stopping completely as it caught fire, forcing the agents to exit its premise. SCP-XXXX-1 was not observed leaving the grounds.

After the fire ceased, having consumed the entirety of the structure, the agents were able to discover a dark hole among the ashes. A Foundation excavation team later arrived and discovered a large cavity underneath the cabin’s foundations, which appeared to be made out of now burnt flesh. Within the cavity the digested corpses of all of the missing hikers, along with their equipment, was discovered.

Report of event:

Mobile Task Force Omega-19 ("Omelette") had been dispatched to a reported site of an SCP-3199 den, to capture and detain as many live instances of SCP-3199 and their eggs as possible. Upon verifying contact with ██ SCP-3199 instances, agents of MTF Omega-19 engaged.

Shortly after, SCP-XXXX-1 arrived on scene, turning the engagement into a threeway brawl. [REDACTED] agents were terminated in the ensuing chaos. SCP-XXXX-1 proceeded to terminate █ instances of SCP-3199 and █ of their Eggs, using SCP-XXXX-2, all of which burned to ash, leaving no remains.

In the middle of the engagement, SCP-XXXX-1 was caught by an instance of SCP-3199, while trying to avoid a different one, which bit into SCP-XXXX-1’s neck, detaching its head via SCP-3199’s acidic properties.

SCP-XXXX-1 dropped SCP-XXXX-2, which shortly after began to levitate, then propelled itself, impaling and terminating agent █████, draining his body of all of its blood and changing the color of its blade from orange to red. Once the entirety of the blade changed color, SCP-XXXX-2 came out of agent █████’s corpse, flew back to the position of SCP-XXXX-1, decapitated the SCP-3199 instance that was digging into SCP-XXXX-1’s corpse, causing it to burn to ash like the previously terminated instances, after which it finally impaled itself into the remains of SCP-XXXX-1, initiating the first observed and recorded Restoration event.

Due to having contained the remaining █ instances of SCP-3199, the rest of MTF Omega-19 arrived to reinforce just as the SCP-XXXX’s Restoration event concluded, at which point, before it could react, SCP-XXXX-1 was shot with a total of 86 class A sedative darts, finally bringing it down and allowing for its containment.

Event designation: Fifth recorded assault of SCP-XXXX against Foundation operations.
Results: POI-1471V232 - Lost and reacquired; Agents ███████, ████████, ████████ and ████████ - Terminated by SCP-XXXX-1; SCP-XXXX - Not Contained
Report of event:

Foundation operatives had apprehended Ms. ████████, from now on referred to as POI-1471V232, who had been exposed to SCP-1471 for a full month, from the wreckage of a car accident, after she had driven her vehicle into the barrier of a highway, causing a chain car crash on the road.

POI-1471V232 was being transported in the back of an armored truck to Site ██ for debriefing and possibly safe containment.

The vehicle was halted by SCP-XXXX-1, which landed on top of the driver’s coach, crushing the steering and controls, before entering its lycanthropic form and putting the truck to a stop. Agents ███████, ████████, ████████ and ████████ attempted to intercept SCP-XXXX-1, opening fire upon it, but were unsuccessful, resulting in their termination by SCP-XXXX-1.

From the feed of agent ████████’s body camera SCP-XXXX-1 was observed picking up the phone of POI-1471V232 from agent ████████’s body and cutting it in half with SCP-XXXX-2. The two halves of the device caught on fire and burned to ash. From the feed of the camera overseeing the back compartment of the truck, SCP-XXXX-1 was observed phasing through the armored walls of the vehicle and approaching the distressed POI-1471V232, reassuring her of her safety and that it would help her.

It then proceeded to cut a horizontal line over her forehead, using SCP-XXXX-2. POI-1471V232 initially displayed pain, but within seconds put on an expression of great surprise, followed by one of relief as the cut bled over her face. The end of the recording shows SCP-XXXX-1 kicking the doors of the truck open and exiting along with POI-1471V232.

POI-1471V232 was recovered by field agents a day later at ███████’s Hospital, ██████ Texas United States and brought in for questioning. During the interview, conducted by Doc. █████████, POI-1471V232 reported that she no longer experienced any incidents with SCP-1471 and that she has not seen SCP-1471-A at all ever since her encounter with SCP-XXXX-1. After successfully passing a neural scan and a psychic evaluation examination, POI-1471V232 was administered class A amnestics and supplanted with new memories, before being released from Foundation custody.

Event designation: “Hunter In The Dark”
Results: [REDACTED] agents - Terminated by SCP-XXXX-1; █ instances of SCP-575 - Terminated by SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2; SCP-XXXX - Contained
Report of event:

Mobile Task Force Epsilon-25(“Anti-Exterminators”) tracked SCP-XXXX-1 to a recently abandoned power plant in ███████, Maine United States, due to power plant staff going missing. There they recorded SCP-XXXX-1 discovering and terminating █ previously undiscovered instances of SCP-575, by approaching hallways and corners with unnatural darkness and seemingly stabbing SCP-XXXX-2 forward into the air, until large patches of the darkness burned away into nothingness.

MTF Epsilon-25 then engaged SCP-XXXX-1, in the process of which agents [REDACTED] were terminated by SCP-XXXX-1. As the remaining agents continued to corner SCP-XXXX-1, it tried to escape by taking on its intangible form and went through a wall, accidentally walking into a malfunctioning reactor, which was generating an electromagnetic field that would dissipate energy, causing SCP-XXXX-1 to be flung back through the wall and knocking it out, providing agent █████████ with the chance to leap on top of SCP-XXXX-1 and administer the necessary sedatives to fully disable it for the MTF’s medic to stop its bleeding and stabilize its vitals, before SCP-XXXX was declared contained.

Following this event an energy dissipating field was made a mandatory addition to SCP-XXXX-1’s containment unit.

+ Incident XXXX-1/2-1

Incident XXXX-1/2-1: Following SCP-XXXX’s first containment, SCP-XXXX-1 was contained within a reinforced humanoid medical containment unit at Site 116, where it was kept under heavy sedation, while SCP-XXXX-2, at the time presumed Safe when not in contact with SCP-XXXX-1, was contained at the same Site in the opposite wing under standard artefact containment protocol and scheduled to be used for testing.

When the first test of its termination abilities was being scheduled, a staff member took SCP-XXXX-2 by its handle, resulting in SCP-XXXX-1 reawakening and entering its berserk state, tearing its way to the location of SCP-XXXX-2, causing a facility containment breach and terminating [REDACTED] staff in the process of reacquiring SCP-XXXX-2.

Upon reacquiring SCP-XXXX-2, SCP-XXXX-1 “assisted” with stemming the containment breach, by terminating SCPs [DATA EXPUNGED], among which were a number of memetic anomalies and cognitohazards, which appeared to have absolutely no effect on SCP-XXXX-1. During its spree, SCP-XXXX-1 reached a holding wing of SCP-2774 affected victims.

By the time agents were able to mitigate the containment breach and follow SCP-XXXX-1, it had “cured” ██ affected individuals in a similar manner to the case on 15/05/20██ described in Event Log XXXX-1/2-H. Following their “cure”, the formerly affected individuals grew overly energetic, displaying joyful behaviour, which impeded the agents’ pursuit, leading to SCP-XXXX-1 managing to escape containment.

+ Incident XXXX-1/2-2

Incident XXXX-1/2-2: On [DATA EXPUNGED] at SCP-XXXX-1's containment Site, SCP-████ - a reality bender that had demonstrated to be completely immortal, as far as Foundation efforts could determine, broke its containment and attempted escape. During the course of the containment breach SCP-████ erased the [REDACTED] Wing of the Site, including SCP-XXXX-1’s containment unit, out of existence.

As soon as outside sensors stopped picking up SCP-XXXX-1 presence, SCP-XXXX-2 began struggling within its casing, before cutting its way out. It then proceeded to impale and drain the blood of the D-Class janitor on duty for the day, after which it cut its way out of its containment Site, while moving at increasing velocity.

SCP-XXXX-2 covered the distance between its containment location and that of SCP-XXXX-1 in twenty two minutes and forty three seconds, stopping at the location where SCP-XXXX-1’s containment unit resided, before discharging the, presumably, blood it had stored in its blade, producing a fully reformed nude SCP-XXXX-1 in the course of a Restoration event.

Once fully reformed, SCP-XXXX-1 took hold of SCP-XXXX-2 and rushed to terminate any other SCPs that had tried to escape during the containment breach, before finally ambushing SCP-████ and impaling it in the back with SCP-XXXX-2, causing SCP-████ to erupt into flames and burn away to nothingness.

SCP-XXXX-1 was then brought down by concentrated sniper fire. SCP-XXXX-2 proceeded to impale and drain the blood of Agent [REDACTED], then initiated another Restoration event, during which SCP-XXXX’s immediate area was flooded with a cloud of class A sedatives, resulting in SCP-XXXX-1 being disabled and allowing surviving personnel to re-contain it.

Following this incident, SCP-XXXX’s object class was reclassified from Euclid to Keter.

Request to relocate both SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 to Site [REDACTED], in case of SCP-682 or SCP-XXXX-1 containment breach, in order to test the interaction between them - pending approval.

+ Addendum XXXX-1-████

Addendum XXXX-1-████: During the [REDACTED] interview incident with SCP-████-3 at Site [DATA EXPUNGED], all living organisms had their life signs temporarily terminated by SCP-████-3.

Among the temporary victims present was SCP-XXXX-1, however, despite SCP-XXXX-1 being dead, SCP-XXXX-2’s secondary anomalous properties did not activate, as it did not make any attempt to escape containment and reach SCP-XXXX-1 in order to initiate a Restoration event. Exact reason for this is still undergoing investigation.

As of [DATA EXPUNGED] is accepted that SCP-████-3 was telling the truth during its interview.

Request to have SCP-████ assist in dealing with SCP-XXXX - denied.

Request to have SCP-████ assist in dealing with SCP-XXXX reopened for additional review, following the end result of Addendum XXXX-1/2-939 - pending approval.

+ Addendum XXXX-1/2-CICB

Addendum XXXX-1/2-CICB: On [REDACTED] a Chaos Insurgency raiding party performed an attack on the Site [REDACTED] by having inside agents, integrated into Foundation personnel, instigate a containment breach, which gave the raiding party the necessary time to abduct [DATA EXPUNGED] SCPs.

After the containment breach was neutralized and a full inventory of the remaining SCPs was done, it was discovered that SCP-XXXX-2’s container was missing. Approximately one week after the raid, SCP-XXXX-1 woke up, regenerating its limbs as it entered its berserk sate and broke out of its containment unit and the Site it was housed at.

SCP-XXXX-1 would be observed heading South-East of ███████ [REDACTED] Equator, before the Foundation lost track of it.

The incident lead the subsequent investigation into the personnel at Site [REDACTED] to conclude that CI operatives had been newly integrated, as they apparently did not know of SCP-XXXX-2’s properties, which is likely why someone tried to wield it, after it was moved to wherever its container was opened.

As of currently, SCP-XXXX is still on the loose. Its whereabouts, status or if connection between SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 was established are unknown. As of Addendum XXXX-1/2-939 it is confirmed that SCP-XXXX-1 has reacquired and is once again in possession of SCP-XXXX-2.

+ Addendum XXXX-1/2-939

Addendum XXXX-1/2-939: Approximately one year after the end results of Addendum XXXX-1/2-CICB, during the conclusion of SCP-939 den eradication operation [REDACTED], Eradication Team [REDACTED] was in pursuit of the final SCP-939 specimen, along with D14AH51, who had been exposed to AMN-C227.

They encountered SCP-XXXX-1, who had terminated the SCP-939, causing its body to burn away. Being briefed on SCP-XXXX-1 over their commlink, ET [REDACTED] engaged SCP-XXXX-1 in an attempt to contain it. SCP-XXXX-1 proceeded to terminate the entire team, except for Agent Thompson, who was thrown back into a nearby tree, and D14AH51, who was separated from them.

SCP-XXXX-1 used SCP-XXXX-2 on D14AH51 in the same way it had been recorded doing to victims of cognitohazards, following which it told D14AH51 to run away. D14AH51 complied with the command and ran away, being recovered █ weeks later and [DATA EXPUNGED].

As the interaction transpired, Agent Thompson managed to slightly recover from his injury and his body camera was still functioning, due to which he was instructed to attempt to conduct an interview with SCP-XXXX-1 if possible. Attempt resulted in the Foundation acquiring the video log for Interview XXXX-1/2-939 and Agent Thompson’s termination by SCP-XXXX-1.

Interviewer: Agent Thompson, last living member of Eradication Team [REDACTED], dispatched to terminate potential den of SCP-939 in ███████, ██ Canada

Foreword: Agent Thompson had a history of positive idealistic views on his job and the functions of the Foundation. When not provided with direct answers or instructions he was prone to aggressive verbal outbursts. Due to the impromptu nature of the situation he is given questions to ask over a communication feed, however he is not able or not willing to follow the script exactly.

Agent Thompson: Agent Thompson grunts in pain as he adjusts his body in a position for SCP-XXXX-1 to be better viewed by his body camera. God! Ugh! Fuck!

SCP-XXXX-1: SCP-XXXX-1 begins approaching agent Thompson.
Agent Thompson: Why? Agent Thompson grunts in pain.

Agent Thompson: Why did you attack us?! Were getting rid of those things! Isn’t that what you do too?!
SCP-XXXX-1: By using an innocent? Don’t bother wasting the little breath you have left in trying to validate your vileness.
Agent Thompson: Agent Thompson goes off of the provided script. We are protecting people! By keeping all this fucked up shit away from them and possibly using some to help them! It’s not a clean job!
SCP-XXXX-1: SCP-XXXX-1 puts on a grimace and squats down, so that it is on equal eye level with agent Thompson.
SCP-XXXX-1: I am following my purpose. I am doing my duty. Since before any of you even existed I was tasked with saving humanity from all of the monsters that would plague it on, within and outside of this world. And that is what I will do. I will slay whatever I must, no matter where it is, in order for humanity to be safe.
SCP-XXXX-1: And unlike you, I learn. I learn how to better fight new enemies and how to recognize them. Mark my words, I will kill every monster that plagues humanity.

Closing Statement: Following the accident, SCP-XXXX is still on the loose and efforts to re-contain it have resulted in failure and numerous casualties.
