Item #: SCP-5672
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5672 is to be contained in a 3x3x3 meter cube made out of osmium. The outer and inner area of the cube is covered with tungsten. The ceiling of the cube is a digital screen showing 24/7 live footage of the sky. The screen has 16 layers of 3x3 bioglass. The entrance to the cube is blocked by 2 (two) guards both armed with the 7213 model of SIR (Standard Inceniration Rifle). To enter the containment zone, all staff are required to have at least Level 3 clearance. It is required for staff to be equipped with an inceniration handgun at all times while they are in the containment zone, no matter the state of SCP-5672.
Description: SCP-5672 is a caucasian male parakeet, colored yellow, black and green. It is 20.51 cm in height and 89.2 grams in weight. It is known to not get sick. It has a top speed of 2.3 km/h. It has been observed to apply 5291 newtons of force with its beak. It is known that it does not feel pain until 6791.3 Pascals of pressure have been applied to it (even if it is 6791.3 Pascals of pressure it will act like it is only 1 Pascal of pressure). It is known to show no signs of wanting to reproduce (see T-5672-2). There are 2 states of SCP-5672, the first is its passive state. When it is in its passive state it will only react to sudden movements and it will only fly to the change and then go back to its normal position. The second state is its agressive state. In this state, if it has observed any kind of motion (with some exceptions, see Addendum-5672.), it will suddenly fly to where that motion came from and try to attack it until it not moving. The change between the states of SCP-5672 may be caused by food shortage or distress and pain.
Addendum-5672: It has been seen that the parakeet only reacts to living things.
