Special Containment Procedures: SCP-███ is located at ██ ████ Street in ██████, Maine. The house is owned by a Foundation associate who has been briefed on the anomaly, and prevents entrance to SCP-███. The anomaly border is marked with duct tape. Do to the rural location of SCP-███ no further containment procedures are needed.

Description: SCP-███ refers to a phenomenon encompassing half of the living room in the household at ██ ████ Street. Attempts to enter the phenomenon results in the individual being stabbed by an unknown force. Every ten seconds a knife of a different make and model materializes and stabs the individual. If the knife does not penetrate flesh, it will continue until it does. See test [DATA REDEACTED]. This process duplicates and repeats until the individual leaves the area. The knifes do not dematerialize, and appear to be of fine quality. Prolonged exposure to the area can result in identification of the stabbed becoming difficult, as the number of knifes lodged in the individual can become exponential, as the stabbings do not cease if the individual dies. Testing does not reveal why the stabbings cease.

The anomaly was discovered by ████████, who found his father stabbed 379 times.¹

Upon discovery Dr. Vrill requested to perform tests, and was granted access to the house.

Experiment ████-████: D-Class subject was ordered to step over the tape, and advised if they left the zone they would be shot. Subject was stabbed upon entrance, quickly left the area and was shot.

Experiment ████-████: Uncooked cow meat was placed in the zone. No reaction.

Experiment ████-████: Owner's cat drawn to scent of meat from previous experiment. Bypassed containment and entered anomaly. There was no reaction, and the cat appears to be able to move anywhere in the living room without injury.

Experiment ████-████: D-Class subject was knocked unconscious and tossed into the zone. Subject was stabbed over [DATA REDACTED] times. Robotic clean up did not produce any anomalous effects.²

Addendum ███-01: Requests for a coma patient have been DENIED and Dr. Vrill has placed under psychiatric evaluation.
