"Deep Sleep"

Object class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-xxxx is to be kept in a 30x30x10 foot enclosure equipped with one electrical outlet. SCP-xxx should remain unplugged from said outlet at all times except during testing. Video feed of SCP-xxxx should be checked daily but is not required to be monitored at all times.

Description: SCP-xxxx appears as a standard grey printer with no discernible make or model, only one button, this being the "print" option and a small screen which seems to serve no unusual purpose. When plugged into an electrical outlet, SCP-xxxx will initiate start-up as any regular printer would do, however, if SCP-xxxx remains unused for longer than 15 minutes, anything in within 24 foot radius will fall unconscious and will remain comatose until removed from the radius. The cause of this effect is unknown.

When the "print" button is pressed, SCP-xxxx will proceed to print out detailed descriptions of every dream the subject has ever had. These pages are to be labeled as SCP-xxxx-1. When the subject holds a page(s), they will vividly remember the dream depicted on SCP-xxxx-1. All test subjects that have used SCP-xxxx will inevitably fall into a comatose state the next time they fall unconscious by any means. All attempts to wake subjects from said state have proven unsuccessful.
Subject's brain activity seems to indicate that all comatose subjects are having nightmares several times more intense than normal.
