Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be stored in a 125m³ Airtight Steel-lined biological containment chamber at Site 108 ███1. SCP-XXXX is to be fed 5kg of non-mammalian flesh twice a week with the chamber being cleaned bi-monthly by Class-D subjects briefed in proper hazardous materials handling. At no time are personnel to come into contact with SCP-XXXX, nor any specimens or waste, without full body protective equipment including but not limited to SCBA. SCP-XXXX must be properly sedated before any personnel may enter the containment chamber. Class D subjects are to be incinerated post-cleaning.
All samples are to be kept in a cryonic storage unit. If at any time outside testing these samples exceed -15*c they are to be incinerated immediately and a breach scenario to be declared. All personnel involved in incident are to be isolated from on-site staff in air-tight humanoid containment chambers for Seventy-Two (72) hours. If personnel show no signs of infection after this time they are to be transferred to another site and declared safe to work. If personnel show sign of infection, they are to be deflagrated at the soonest possible date.
Facility is to be fitted with a twice redundant air filtration system in case of containment failure as well as quarantine facilities, a steel evacuation shelter, a secondary containment chamber, and on-site sedative dispersal system. In case of containment breach staff are to evacuate to onsite evacuation shelter. Containment teams are to place at minimum 10kg of Mammalian meat inside secondary containment chamber. Upon entering containment chamber SCP-XXXX is to be sealed inside until transfer to new containment chamber is possible.

Object Description: SCP-XXXX is a large multi-segmented worm of the phylum Platyhelminthes measuring 4.6m in length. Apart from it's large size and slight pink pigmentation it resembles a tapeworm in its entirety. Unlike a tapeworm, however, SCP-XXXX is able to burrow through every material tested with little effort, excluding steel, which it struggles with greatly.
SCP-XXXX reproduces via consumption of mammalian flesh., Upon consumption of mammalian flesh it will rapidly grow and produce segments which will break off into instances of SCP-XXXX-01.
SCP-XXXX-01 are smaller tapeworms observed ranging in size anywhere from 20cm to 35cm, They do not possess the ability to burrow, however, they can move very rapidly and are capable of launching up to 2.1 meters.
Upon contact with a human. XXXX-01 will burrow within them and rapidly integrate themselves with the host's brain. The host, now declared SCP-XXXX-02, will attempt to blend in amongst other humans. XXXX-01 will cause the host to release a pheromone2 via XXXX-02's glands allowing heavy influence over those around it.
XXXX-02 will then take those under it's control to a dark and humid location where it will expose those around it to a substance containing hundreds of eggs. These eggs will hatch within seconds and burrow into the exposed where they will make their way to the brain, These infected should be declared SCP-XXXX-03 instances.
Upon gaining control of atleast one human, assuming the conditions are right, XXXX-02 will integrate their body with the wall of the room. A large flower-like structure composed of the host's flesh heavily resembling the flowers of the genus Clianthus will bloom from their lower abdomen and legs. The XXXX-01 instance inside the host will now expose themselves through the flower as a form of "Pistil"3
The XXXX-01 instance will then extrude a fleshy, brown substance4which contains thousands of XXXX-01 eggs as well as an airbourne hallucinogen5 which causes visual hallucinations that the substance excreted by XXXX-01 is a form of sustainance, usually taking the form of the subject's mother's home cooking, XXXX-01 will also be viewed as the subject's mother.
Those effected will begin consuming this substance at a rapid rate, becoming an instance of XXXX-02.
