KT003 - 405

Item #: SCP - 4050

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Housed at Site-47, SCP-4050 is to be contained in an M-SHACC (Medium - Standard Humanoid Anomaly Containment Cell). SCP-4050 is currently allowed Class 3 (restricted) socialization privileges with approved site personnel, granted based on continued good behavior and cooperation with Foundation personnel.

Description: SCP-4050 is a female child of Caucasian descent, approximately at 13 years of age. Attempts at identifying SCP-4050 through official population records have proven futile. At a height of 147 cm and 40 kg of weight, with pale skin and short brown hair, SCP-4050’s physical characteristics have not changed at all, despite the natural need for and intake of nutrients. Tests, interviews, and incidents during containment have revealed minor pyrophobia and fear of surgical equipment. SCP-4050 communicates purely through russian speech. As such, a specific team of specialists had been assembled, led by Dr. Nikolai █████ and Dr. Daria ████████

For more detailed information, see Interviews #0-C through #103-A

In its usual, calm state, SCP-4050’s arms and legs are spotted with numerous, scar-like imprints, identified as the primary ‘output’ of its anomalous properties. Should SCP-4050 become subjected to high levels of stress, the limbs explode outward through the aforementioned spots in sizeable and irregular masses of flesh, consisting of skin tissue, muscle and traces of bone marrow. Throughout the process, none of the original mass of the subject is lost, nor is any additional gained. According to interviews and observation, this volatile process is accompanied by immense levels of pain for SCP-4050.

Once the level of growths reaches its limit, the resulting biomass will come to a standstill, slowly and gradually decaying into mucus and pus after a period of time. Once freed, either through the process of decay or surgical assistance, SCP-4050’s scars will reveal fresh inner skin tissue and even muscles, severely warped and damaged. Through natural, yet anomalously accelerated means, the limbs and scars can heal given the time.

In most cases, SCP-4050 rarely has control of the volume, direction and purpose of growth of its additional organic matter. Exceptions, however, have been observed.

See Incident#5B for details.

Despite the variety of conducted medical tests, procedures and diagnostics, SCP-4050’s anatomy and bodily composition was not found to be any different from that of an ordinary child. Proposals and plans for a live and thorough dissection have long been debated within the Ethics Committee and are still on hold.

SCP-4050 was initially discovered during the search and rescue operations conducted in the rubble of the ███████████ Clinic, in the city of Saint Petersburg in March of 2018, following a destructive explosion and fire caused by a gas leak. As soon as the anomalous nature of one of the survivors had been ascertained, Foundation personnel were deployed onto the site for retrieval, containment, and cover-up operations.

Incident#5B - December 2018

As a direct result of the unexpected escape of SCP-████, Site-47 suffered a site-wide containment breach. While the Foundation personnel had been rapidly evacuated, containment cells of other SCPs in the vicinity were left for secured lockdown as per on-site protocol. Nonetheless, in the wake of SCP-████’s rampage, SCP-4050’s cell was damaged, providing the means of escape.

Intact surveillance footage throughout the facility captured the details of SCP-4050’s further actions.

At 12:42 AM the site-wide lockdown procedures are still in place. The stationed security force is yet to successfully pacify SCP-████ as it rapidly moves through the facility corridors in a murderous rampage, while MTF “Maz Hatters” had only just arrived at the site.

SCP-4050 is shown slowly leaving its containment area, stepping out into the junction corridor. Shortly after, the audio feed picks up on the enraged outcries of SCP-████, getting closer as it moves in the direction of 4050’s position. In panic the latter starts to flee in the opposite direction, slipping through the opening in the half-closed blast doors of a security checkpoint.

Camera feed within the checkpoint shows the wide space barely lit. SCP-4050 manages to go through just as SCP-████ crashes into the blast doors. The first starts to show severe levels of stress and fear, crying and screaming in distress as it tries to make distance between itself and SCP-████’s multiple limbs already clawing through the thick metal plates of the doors.

In the darkness SCP-4050 stumbles and falls against the mutilated remains of one of the security teams.

Surveillance feed of multiple cameras is abruptly cut offline just as SCP-████ pounces in for SCP-4050. Only one camera, unable to record SCP-4050 itself from its position, shows the final moments as SCP-████ is suddenly thrown back by SCP-4050’s outburst of flesh, despite the enormous weight and size. The resulting onslaught of flesh appears to be much larger and stronger than previously recorded, spilling out onto the surroundings with enough force to crack walls and knock out other surveillance cameras.

In a matter of seconds SCP-████ is engulfed completely and, despite its efforts, is eventually subdued and seizes all movement beneath the mound of biomass. For some time, only SCP-4050’s intense cries of pain and weeping are audible, before it loses consciousness from pain shock.

In the aftermath of Incident#5B, a total of ██ security personnel had been lost. In the discussions and calculations amidst the O4 Council, the death toll would have been much higher and repercussions more serious had it not been for SCP-████’s encounter with SCP-4050 and its subsequent termination.

Nonetheless, neither the remains of SCP-████, nor the bodies of the deceased security force had been found.

Following Incident#5B, SCP-4050’s Euclid designation has been put under question and further discussion.
