Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be disconnected from any phone lines and contained in a low-priority locker within Site 66. Access to SCP-XXXX is to be monitored at all times.

Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a non-anomalous desktop telephone estimated to be from the years 2000-2010. It was recovered from an abandoned office building after rumors had spread about a "Telephone to the past". When connected to a phone line and any combination of 11 digits is dialed, the subject who places the handset to their ear will report hearing a memory of their past coming from the handset. In spite of this, nearby personnel report hearing no such sound other than static white noise. Many subjects report hearing multiple memories succeeding each other. After a varying amount of time, subjects will report that they can now only hear static white noise coming from within the handset. The longest recorded time of a subject reporting hearing their memories is 2 hours. Upon ending the "call" subjects who were exposed to the handset report feelings of severe nostalgia.

Procedure: D-7942 is instructed to dial the numbers █-███-███-████, and is to hold the handset to his ear.

Results: After D-7942 had successfully completed his task, he had held handset to his ear for a total of 5 minutes 56 seconds. He reported hearing a woman's screams and a crying child.

Notes: D-7942 was put on death row for the torture and murder of a woman and her child.

Notes: D-6450 was put on death row for the murder and torture of 2 men. He had a history of other crimes as well, one of which we believe to be animal abuse at a very young age.

Procedure: D-8504 is instructed to dial the numbers █-███-███-████, and is to hold the handset to his ear.

Results: After D-8504 had successfully completed his task, he had held handset to his ear for a total of 120 minutes 22 seconds. He reported hearing a man with a deep voice informing him of his mother's death.

Notes: D-8504's mother had passed away when he was 8 from cardiac arrest after a long history of heart complications. This is the longest call taken so far. Further investigation is underway.
