Description: Recovered from the ██████ Desert in ███████, USA, SCP-XXXX appears to be a Chrysler TV-8, an experimental tank design from the mid-20th century. The vehicle is 8.9m long, 3.4m wide, and 2.9m tall. It has a weight of 22.67 metric tons. SCP-XXXX is unique from other conventional tank designs in that the engine, crew, and ammunition are stored in the turret. This makes the turret appear egg-shaped, and over-sized. The vehicle also utilizes a nuclear-fission powerplant as the motor, which allows it to travel long distances without needing to be refueled. The peculiar shape of the turret also allows for amphibious operations.
The object's armament consists of a 90mm T208 smooth-bore gun, two 7.62mm coaxial MGs, and a single 12.7mm MG mounted on the roof. Due to the shape of the turret, the 90mm gun has no means to elevate or depress. Instead, the object uses an oscillating turret system. SCP-XXXX has no direct viewports, and instead relies on CCTV cameras located around the vehicle for both fire control systems and for driving.
SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties can be observed in the armor of the vehicle. While resembling cast steel in both appearance and composition, the durability of the armor is substantially higher than should be possible for steel alone. Multiple tests have been conducted in regard to SCP-XXXX's armor durability (See Addendum).
Addendum:
Test ██ conducted on 5/13/19██, with assistance from MTF Psi-7.
Subject: SCP-XXXX
Procedure: 152mm SABOT shot is to be fired at SCP-XXXX's side turret armor.
Current ballistic projections predict that this should penetrate SCP-XXXX's armor.
Results: SCP-XXXX remained completely undamaged, with the exception of the paint on the
site of impact being sheared off. The SABOT flechette was found on the floor
next to SCP-XXXX, completely flattened.
