Item #: SCP-5912

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5912 is to be kept in a small case within a locked cell at all times and is not to be tampered with by anybody from A-Class, B-Class, or C-Class. Testing the anomalous properties of SCP-5912 is to under the supervision of the overseer of that site and is to only be tested on D-Class subjects. SCP-5912-1 is to be terminated immediately to prevent the deaths of any further D-Class subjects and supervisors.

Description: SCP-5912 is a small arrowhead connected to a wooden stick that is about 4.5" long and 0.45" wide. The arrowhead is plastered in dried blood of unknown origin, and is very sharp. The effects of SCP-5912 are still being tested to this day, as overseers believe that its anomalous effects aren't all too harmful, as long as it is not interacted with. These effects are activated when pierced into a corpse and/or a living being. {The effects aren't too severe on living beings, as their immune systems are strong enough to resist the effects of SCP-5912.} A corpse that has been pierced will start to violently shake and twitch for a few moments, then it would fully become animate, but not intelligent. We have classified corpses pierced by SCP-5912 to be SCP-5912-1. Living beings pierced by SCP-5912 begin to hallucinate and believe that a ghost is following them, they begin to experience high levels of adrenaline as well as heightened senses.

SCP-5912-1 is a deceased corpse that has been pierced by SCP-5912 and is fully animate, but not intelligent. Not a lot is known about SCP-5912-1 except for the fact that it has heightened strength and dexterity, making even the weakest of the D-Class members stronger than world record holders and athletes. SCP-5912-1 can be terminated by pulling SCP-5912 out of it, thus ending the transmission of the effect.
