Special Containment Procedures: A guarded perimeter is set up around Containment Site-XXXX. No less than three (3) guards disguised as homeless citizens are to guard the perimeter at all times and are to be equipped with concealed weapons to deter trespassers if the need arises.
No less than two (2) armed Foundation operatives are to be posted just outside of a 10 meter radius of SCP-XXXX and are to be equipped with reinforced protective face masks as well as corrosion-resistant clothing and armed with automatic weapons capable of housing incendiary rounds.
Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 attempting to leave the premises are to be dispatched immediately using incendiary rounds. Any remains are to be sent to Site-███ for analysis.
Description: SCP-XXXX is located in the basement level of the “Skier’s Abode” apartment building in █████, Austria. Foundation agents tracked the activity to the aforementioned location following several reports of peculiar murders in the town. After a failed attempt to transport SCP-XXXX, MTF Phi-52 “Unstoppable Force” was called in. However, all relocation efforts so far have proven unsuccessful as SCP-XXXX appears to be immovable through standard methods. As such the Foundation purchased the location and closed it down under the guise of severe health violations whilst redubbing it Containment Site-XXXX.
SCP-XXXX resembles a set of four (4) washing machines and two (2) clothes dryers, resembling those
manufactured by ████████ Incorporated. Research into this company has not, as of yet, yielded any additional information about SCP-XXXX’s anomalous nature. During the day, SCP-XXXX functions regularly as a washing machine and clothes dryer respectively. However, upon nightfall, SCP-XXXX becomes active until daybreak. All electronic devices within a 10 meter radius of SCP-XXXX become disabled and all non-electronic light sources will be severely dimmed. Once a sufficient level of darkness is achieved, a tear-like rift appears within each instance of SCP-XXXX. From this rift, instances of SCP-XXXX-1 begin to spawn.
Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are crimson slug-like entities covered in a viscous and highly flammable substance resembling blood in appearance. However, research into the chemical composition of this substance has been inconclusive. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are highly aggressive and will attempt to terminate any life forms within a 10 meter radius of SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-1 instances will attempt to accomplish this is by attaching themselves to the subject’s oral cavity and vomiting a highly corrosive variant of the same substance they continuously secrete down the subject’s throat, resulting in the subject’s death shortly after this substance is introduced. If this action is successful, instances of SCP-XXXX will then begin consuming the subject unless deterred via light or the conclusion of SCP-XXXX’s active hours. If consumption of the subject is uninterrupted, the body mass of the subject will be converted into an even thicker substance used for building elaborate hives.
Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 appear to be fearful of light and will immediately recoil and retreat to the confines of SCP-XXXX if they are introduced to it. If exposed to a sufficient light source for time usually ranging from 40 to 70 seconds SCP-XXXX-1’s flammable secretion will combust, quickly terminating the instance. If dispatched via incendiary weaponry, the instance’s corpse will usually continuously burn until nothing but a greasy ash remains.
